During their first appearance on Season 7, they finished 2nd after having won four legs and finished 8th in Season 11 after having won and dominated the first three legs of the race.
Being former contestants of Survivor, their fellow contestants were not too happy regarding their celebrity status and the fact that locals were willing to help them more owing to them being well-known. Despite having to face some of the worst villains of the show, including Joe and Bill, the couple managed to rake in a career total of seven leg wins.
3 Dave And Connor (8 Legs)
This father and son duo from Salt Lake City, Utah first appeared on the 22nd season of The Amazing Race and finished 8th on the show. Having ranked so poorly during their first outing, nobody thought that they would prove to be the winners of Season 24, the second All-Stars version of the show.
During their initial season, David O’Leary and Connor O’Leary had won two legs out of the twelve, but during the season they won the race, they won six legs out of the twelve, tying them with Andy and Tommy as the record holders of most legs won by an all-male team during a season. They have a career total of eight legs won in the show, which makes them effective and dominant compared to the other teams that have appeared throughout the years.
2 Rachel And Dave (8 Legs)
There exists a debate as to whether The Amazing Race should go on, or whether it should be discontinued, but it is for participants like David Brown Jr. and Rachel Brown, that the show deserves to be continued.
One of the best teams to have ever participated in the contest, this married couple comprising of army wife Rachel and combat pilot Dave, dominated Season 20, winning eight legs in the season, also making them the current record holders of most legs won by a team in a single season. Ironically it is also the second-highest career total of leg wins any team has ever managed to accumulate, and Rachel and Dave managed to do it in a single season.
1 Christie And Colin (9 Legs)
Collin Woods and Christie Woods first appeared in Season 5 of The Amazing Race and finished second, having won six legs in the season.
They appeared again on the 31st season of the show and despite being bogged down by one of the best twists in Amazing Race history, the Roadblock, they emerged as the winners of Season 31, having won three legs. With a career total of nine leg wins, and the 2nd and 1st position finishes in both the seasons that they appeared in, Collin and Christie Woods is arguably the most dominant team that has ever appeared on The Amazing Race, with or without considering the most number of legs won.
