Valheim User Builds Star Wars AT-AT To Protect Their Base

Using the force and a little elbow grease, a Valheim player built a massive Star Wars AT-AT to protect their base from a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Valheim’s popularity shows no signs of stopping as players continue to outdo themselves with huge builds. Despite the fact that massive builds drop Valheim’s frame rates, players continue to meticulously create incredible structures, bringing their imagination to virtual life. Users have built replicas of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral in Valheim, and others have brought entire cities to life, like Whiterun from Skyrim. Now, a player brings Star Wars to the Viking world with the latest jaw-dropping build.

Valheim builds have often come with utility, as players use the build system in genius ways to gain an advantage in the dangerous game world. Players have built sundials to tell time, honeycombs to keep bees happy, and have engineered spiral staircases that make tower construction more effective for defense. In a recent build, a player ensures the protection of their well-earned loot, and the project has just been unveiled.

Reddit user Mctavern revealed their Star Wars AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) build in Valheim, one that may just be necessary to frighten monsters and keep them away from precious loot. The AT-AT towers over the player and looks nearly identical to the sci-fi space tech used by the Imperials in Star Wars. While there won’t be powerful blasts spouting from the guns at the mouth of the machine, it still looks terrifying to potential raiders.

While the build may be a great storage space for chests, the actual effectiveness of the build is pretty low. Since the AT-AT can’t move and there weren’t blasters in the Viking age, all the AT-AT can do is send waves of fear through the hearts of enemies, like in the battle of Hoth. It may succeed in keeping Valheim Greylings from committing home invasion, but it might not protect bases from full-on Troll attacks. Still, the AT-AT makes a great place to stay during raids, giving a perfect vantage point to rain arrows on enemies.

Star Wars fans can finally bring a piece of the galaxy far, far away to Valheim, as Mctavern has proved what is possible if a player puts their mind to a build. Certain Valheim tips can make building easier, which means every player can have their own AT-AT at home. Luckily, there won’t be any snow speeders wrapping cords around the AT-AT’s legs and giving it a mouthful of snow, but players should still be wary of wolves, trolls, and any other Valheim monster looking to take down the Empire.
