Why Real Housewives of Miami Fans Want Orianne Collins to Join Cast

It's been 8 years since we've seen The Real Housewives of Miami on our small screens. Fans of the series are thrilled that it's been picked up again as a reboot on the Peacock streaming service. Those who appreciated the show are waiting on the edges of their seats to find out who will be cast in the 2021 version. One contender is Phil Collins' ex Orianne Collins, who is now known as Orianne Cevey.

Orianne has been a fixture on the Miami social scene for a while now. She recently made headlines due to her drama with her ex, the famous singer and drummer, Phil Collins. Orianne was allegedly living in the Miami mansion she once shared with Phil Collins and refused to move out when they broke up. Phil Collins was supposedly trying to evict her and her new partner from the house. This type of drama is just what RHOM fans are craving, and they may get some Larsa Pippen drama, too.

The mansion in question was recently sold for a whopping $40 million. According to Page Six, Orianne and her new husband Thomas Bates did finally move out. They were recently spotted in Miami, looking for a yacht to purchase. The outlet reports that "Cevey was allegedly rushing staffers to refill her free champagne as they checked out a new model of Sunreef Yachts’ 40-foot Power Diamond Limited Edition that was docked there." See Orianne posing before an event below:

Recently, Orianne sold a lot of her personal luxury items via the auction house Kodner Galleries, Inc. in Florida, raking in over $2 million, and other auctions are planned. Orianne's life plays out like a reality TV celeb's, even though she doesn't have a show yet. She is originally from Switzerland, and she met Phil Collins (who is 23 years her senior) while working as his translator during his 1994 tour of Switzerland.

Since then, they've had a tumultuous relationship. The two were married in 1999 and had two sons together. Their first son Nicholas was born in 2001, and their second son Matthew was born in 2004. The couple divorced in 2008.

In 2011, Orianne had another child named Andrea by a different father. In 2016, she reunited with Phil Collins for a time. The couple did do some great work together, through a charity benefiting underprivileged children, which is known as the Little Dreams Foundation. They founded that charity together. Orianne married her much-younger husband in 2020 (reportedly, in Las Vegas), and rumor has it that Phil learned about their wedding via text.

The Real Housewives of Miami last aired in 2013. So far, clues seem to show that Larsa Pippen may have been cast in the reboot. She is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen. Rumors suggest that ultra-rich socialite Lea Black and Joanna Krupa, who both live in Los Angeles now, have turned down requests to come back to the show. The verdict is still out on previous cast members Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Cristy Rice, Lisa Hochstein, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra.

This reboot of The Real Housewives of Miami was all Bravo host and executive producer Andy Cohen's idea. He will be executive producing the RHOM reboot. Andy may have a final say over the series' casting. If Orianne gets cast, that will be exciting.
