Since premiering in 2002, The Bachelor has become a cultural phenomena. The show has created a dedicated fan base that loves to tune in every Monday to watch one man court thirty women, and hopefully fall madly in love with one of them and live happily ever after.

While the premise of the show has remained the same over the course of 25 seasons, the leads have all brought something different to the table in terms of personality and the definition of true love. For the past 10 bachelor's, some found their forever person, while others found Instagram fame and book deals.

10 Matt James (Season 25)

Matt James made history as the first Black male lead on The Bachelor when his season premiered this past January. In the end, he chose to date Rachael Kirkconnell instead of propose to her, but they broke up before After The Final Rose due to her previously racist behavior.

Though his season just concluded in March, Matt has been up to a lot since then. His charcuterie boards have become quite the hit on TikTok, and most recently he was spotted out in New York with Rachael, prompting rumors that they may have reconciled.

9 Peter Weber (Season 24)

Peter Weber's season famously ended with him proposing to Hannah Ann Sluss, breaking it off, and then seemingly reuniting with runner-up Madison Prewett despite his mother's wishes.

Since then, Peter has had a relationship with fifth-place finisher Kelley Flanagan that ended in late December. Currently, Peter remains single and has been seen hanging with the other men of Bachelor Nation in New York, where he lives with fellow contestant Dustin Kendrick.

8 Colton Underwood (Season 23)

Colton Underwood famously jumped the fence in his season of The Bachelor. His reasoning was that he wanted to be with frontrunner Cassie Randolph so badly, and she had self-eliminated herself. By the season's end they got back together and decided to take it slow and date off the show.

Colton released a book in March 2020, entitled The First Time. Colton and Cassie remained together until May 2020, when they announced their breakup. In September, Cassie filed for a restraining order against Colton after he allegedly sent her threatening text messages and put a tracking device on her vehicle.

7 Arie Luyendyk Jr. (Season 22)

Arie Luyendyk Jr. shocked a lot of fans when he chose to propose to Becca Kufrin over Lauren Burnham at the Final Rose Ceremony. That's why it didn't surprise many when he changed his mind and broke things off with Becca to pursue a future with Lauren instead.

The race-car driver proposed to Lauren on After The Final Rose, and the two wed in January 2019. They welcomed their daughter Alessi in May of that year, and are currently expecting twins. They recently announced plans to move to Hawaii.

6 Nick Viall (Season 21)

Nick Viall chose Vanessa Grimaldi over Raven Gates in the Season 21 finale of The Bachelor. The two got engaged but broke it off four months later.

Since his time as the Bachelor, Nick has competed on Dancing with the Stars and started his own podcast called The Viall Files where he interviews celebrities and members of Bachelor Nation alike. Lately, he debuted his relationship with new girlfriend, Natalie Joy, on Instagram.

5 Ben Higgins (Season 20)

Ben Higgins stole the hearts of fans and Kaitlyn Bristowe when he competed on Season 11 of The Bachelorette. As the lead on his own season, he got down on one knee and proposed to flight attendant Lauren Bushnell.

After the show, Ben and Lauren starred in their own reality show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? before ending their engagement. He also participated on The Bachelor Winter Games in 2018. Recently, he got engaged to longtime girlfriend Jessica Clarke.

4 Chris Soules (Season 19)

Chris Soules first appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette. On Season 19 of The Bachelor, he got engaged to Whitney Bischoff, but they broke up two months after the finale.

In 2015, Chris competed on Dancing with the Stars and finished in 5th place. In 2017, he was involved in a fatal car accident where he fled the scene, leading him to be sentenced to two years' probation. Most recently, Chris was linked to Victoria Fuller from Peter Weber's season, but their romance was short lived.

3 Juan Pablo Galavis (Season 18)

Before Clare Crawley she was The Bachelorette, she was telling off Bachelor Juan Pablo in the Season 18 finale of The Bachelor. After her exit, Juan Pablo gave his final rose to Nikki Ferrell, and they dated until October 2014.

Juan Pablo and Nikki appeared on Couples Therapy together before their split. In 2017, he got married to Osmariel Villalobos, but the pair divorced in 2019. He tweeted about ex Clare while her season of The Bachelorette was airing.

2 Sean Lowe (Season 17)

One of Bachelor Nation's most beloved success stories came from Season 17 of The Bachelor. 29-year-old Sean Lowe fell head over heels for Catherine Giudici.

The lovebirds got married in January 2014. Sean, like most of his Bachelor peers, competed on Dancing with the Stars. He and Catherine have expanded their family by welcoming three children, Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia. He has also appeared on a variety of reality shows since his time on The Bachelor.

1 Ben Flajnik (Season 16)

After vying for Ashley Herbert's heart on The Bachelorette, Ben Flajnik took the reins as lead of the 16th season of The Bachelor. He proposed to model Courtney Robertson at the Final Rose Ceremony, but they separated while the season was airing.

Ben and Courtney briefly reunited as an engaged couple before ending their relationship for good in the Fall of 2012. Following the show, he began working at Yelp, and was once spotted on a date with actress Jennifer Love Hewitt. He now remains relatively out of the spotlight.
