Season eight of 90 Day Fiancé has come to an end, but Andrew Kenton's mother, Lori Kenton, is still adding fuel to the controversy surrounding Andrew's relationship with Amira Lollysa. Lori recently claimed Amira demanded money from her son and said it was probably the reason the couple broke up. In the final episode, Andrew met his sister, Connie, and mother for lunch. The family talked about what happened and asked several questions about why Amira was a no-show.
Amira didn't catch her flight to the United States and decided to return to her home country, France. Obviously, Connie and Lori were upset to see Andrew disappointed. While trying to understand the situation, Lori said it doesn't make sense that Amira flew to Serbia, quarantined there for 14 days, and then went back to France. Lori wanted her son to have an explanation from Amira because she didn't think having a panic attack was a good enough reason. Later on, she even doubted Amira had a panic attack at all. Her reasoning was no one saw her, so she could be lying.
Lori is now claiming she knows why Amira and Andrew broke up, and it supposedly has nothing to do with the panic attack. She took to her Instagram and revealed the French-Egyptian beauty returned to France because she was "demanding money" from her son (via Soap Dirt). Lori believes the breakup had nothing to do with the argument the couple had over their future kids. Andrew wanted to have children in the near future, but Amira was unsure about it. Instead, she wanted to spend time with Andrew and ensure their relationship was strong before adding children to the dynamic, which immediately upset her fiancée.
Lori knows all this because she witnessed the last conversation between the couple. 90 Day Fiance viewers have mixed reactions to this revelation. Earlier, many 90 Day Fiance fans mobbed Andrew for gaslighting his fiancé. Now, Andrew's mother wants to protect her son, which is why she's standing up for him. A fan wrote, "I understand a mother wants to defend her son. But ma'am your son needs discipline." Another fan said, "Oh yeah? Cause your son is so rich from babysitting." Still another fan thought Andrew was conning his mother just like he tried to trick Amira.
Others think Lori could be telling the truth because Amira is "fame-hungry." She once tried to be on another reality TV show, Love After Lockup, and started dating a prisoner. A few fans said they need more details about why Amira asked for money and how Andrew replied to her. He should show some receipts to prove his point. However, most 90 Day Fiance fans think that even if Amira asked for money, it doesn't give Andrew the right to send her condescending and abusive messages.
