The speed skater had great footwork heading into the show, and alongside Julianne, they were able to put together some highspeed dances that fans still remember to this day.

7 Zendaya & Valentin Chmerkovskiy (Season 16)
Zendaya and Valentin are another couple that didn't actually manage to win the show, finishing runners-up to Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough. However, many believed that they should have taken home the Mirror Ball, which is largely down to their excellent performances.
They had instant chemistry and just clicked with every performance that they gave. They were easy to watch perform, bringing a sense of joy to everything that they did with the appearance only helping to raise Zendeya's star power.
6 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas (Season 6)
Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas were one of the most dominant couples in Dancing With The Stars history. Kristi was a favorite from early on with her ice skating background, and that proved to be a good call as she put together some impressive dances.

Mellisa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani were able to be partners not just once, but twice, which is why they're one of the greatest couples in the history of the show. They first competed in season eight, and while they weren't able to win, they did manage to take a third-place finish.
However, it was their second spell together which proved just how good they are. They were involved in the All-Stars season 15 cast, and they were able to go on and win that show. With two top-three finishes, the duo ended up going down in history as one of the best couples of all time.
2 Meryl Davis & Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Season 18)
Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy had instant chemistry from week one, and that only increased as each episode came by. It was clear from early on that they were destined to get their hands on the Mirror Ball, and that's exactly what they did.

1 Jordan Fisher & Lindsay Arnold (Season 25)
When it comes to the greatest couple in Dancing With The Stars history, it's hard to overlook Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold. They got seven perfect scores in their final eight performances, proving just how talented they were as they earned their victory.
They performed with ease, looking as close to professional as anybody could wish for with their performances. Jordan is often praised for being the best male celebrity to have taken part in the season, and their chemistry together helped to make them the best couple ever as well.
