Teresa Giudice appears to be head over heels for her new boyfriend, Luis Ruelas, but The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have already grown suspicious over abuse claims plaguing the businessman. After Redditors linked a recent expose about a "narcissistic abuser" to Luis, viewers are worried Teresa is headed towards trouble.
Viewers were introduced to Luis on the season 11 finale after the Fabulicious author tried to keep him a secret from her friends. It had been years since anyone saw Teresa happily in love. The show followed the dramatic end of her 20-year marriage with Joe Giudice that came as a result of their consecutive prison sentences and Joe's deportation. After Joe opened up about his post-divorce romance on The Wendy Williams Show, Teresa finally allowed Luis to mic up and film a scene with her. He appeared completely smitten by the Bravo star and she shared the same emotion. Since confirming their relationship, Luis joined Teresa and Joe at a blended family dinner.
However, it turns out things aren't all peaches and cream when it comes to Luis's past. The father of two happens to be the ex-fiancée of Vanessa Reiser, a woman who ran nearly 300 miles across New York to raise awareness for narcissistic domestic abuse. She wore a wedding dress during the challenging run because "narcissists generally will use the wedding or an engagement as a form of control and manipulation," she told People. While speaking with the outlet she revealed the gruesome forms of abuse her ex inflicted on her. "There was a lot of pain," she said. "I had to stay at my mother's house for three months. It was really awful."

Others joined in on the conversation with opinions on how Teresa has expressed her devotion to Luis. "On WWHL Teresa said she will not do a prenup if and when they get married.
