Big Brother star Nicole Franzel recently celebrated her pregnancy with a carnival-themed baby shower. Nicole and her fellow BB showmance-turned-husband Victor Arroyo gathered with their closest friends and family last weekend to celebrate the nearing arrival of their first child together. Overall, the party was decorated to resemble a bright and fun carnival. Nicole and Victor are expecting to welcome their baby sometime in July 2021.
Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo first met inside the Big Brother 18 house, which Nicole went on to win in the end. Despite not being a showmance on the show - and the fact that Nicole voted to evict Victor three times - the two reconnected after the season and quickly began to date. A few years later, they returned to the Big Brother house to get engaged on the show. The couple originally planned to tie the knot in December of 2020, but they were forced to postpone their big day due to the lockdowns and restrictions that came with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite having to push back their wedding, Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo were ready to start a family together after she left the Big Brother 22: All-Stars season in third place. In January 2021, they announced they were expecting their first child together. Now, six months later, Nicole and Victor are celebrating the near arrival of their baby. Earlier this week, Nicole shared photos on Instagram taken from the couple's baby shower. The party had a carnival theme, but animals were missing from the decorations because Nicole believes that they do not belong in the carnival or at the circus. Nicole later took to her Instagram Story to share a better look inside the party, which consisted of iconic carnival games and an amazing dessert display that included "locally-made filled cupcakes, Cracker Jacks, colorful swirled lollipops, and cotton candy," according to Heavy. Nicole Franzel continued on to share how "grateful" she and Victor Arroyo are for all the support they've been getting from friends and family members who are already loving and spoiling their baby boy. Later, Nicole thanked her mom and her aunt for putting together the party for her. In the photos, Nicole and Victor - along with their friends and relatives - posed in front of a navy blue backdrop surrounded by bright-colored balloons. Nicole showed off her growing baby bump as she shined in a bright yellow sundress. She paired the dress with trendy heeled hot pink sandals. To finish off the look, while also sticking with the theme of the party, Nicole parted her hair into two low pigtails and topped it off with a black headband. Victor also stood out in his bright teal button-down shirt paired with white pants and beige dress shoes.
Nicole and Victor have yet to reveal the baby's name. However, they have shared that they do in fact have one picked out. Nicole is nearing the end of her first pregnancy, with her due date being sometime in July. How ironic would it be if Nicole and Victor welcomed their son into the world on the same day Big Brother 23 premieres? It would definitely be a story for the two to tell their kids one day.
