D&D Live 2021: WWE Chaos Carnival Table Superstar Players & DM Revealed

A fearsome foursome of WWE Superstars is sitting down at the Chaos Carnival Table for a role-playing session as part of D&D Live. The event, which consists of four limited-run campaigns with celebrities getting into character, is a partnership between Dungeons & Dragons, World Wrestling Entertainment, and the revived G4 network. Each of the four games will find a home on both D&D and G4's video outlets as well as G4's network home on Peacock. The two-day event will broadcast on July 16 and 17 and will be available as a video on demand show for future viewing.

With the announcement of the Chaos Carnival Table, there are two more casts yet to be revealed. G4 and D&D have previously announced the Lost Odyssey: Last Light Table, which features Jack Black, Kevin Smith, Reggie Watts, Lauren Lapkus, Jason Mewes, and host Kate Welch. The event will also feature details on upcoming D&D storylines as well as Magic: The Gathering's upcoming adventure into the Forbidden Realms this Summer.

Heading up the party at the Chaos Carnival Table is Xavier Woods, who is both a former 11-time tag team champion with his partners in the New Day and one of the new hosts of the G4 network. Being an in-demand personality, Xavier has a typically busy summer ahead of him. He'll also be hosting EA Play on July 22 and keeping up with his gaming YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown. This is all on top of continuing to compete at WWE's highest level, which includes serving as the main event at this past week's WWE Raw in the Hell in a Cell cage against current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

Joining The New Day's Xavier Woods at the table are former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Ember Moon, fashionista and UpUpDownDown regular Tyler Breeze, and the former Retribution heavy MACE. All four wrestlers will guide their characters through the titular carnival in a story led by Dungeon Master Aabria Iyengar. The popular DM promises that there's a lot in store for these adventurers:

"It’s no coincidence that the storyline I have prepared for WWE Superstars involves high-flying attractions and wildly dangerous stakes. Each player at the table lost something precious to them at the Chaos Carnival years ago...can they unravel the secrets below the Big Top before they become the next main attraction?"

The WWE team will be raising money for Connor's Cure, a non-profit charitable organization for pediatric cancer research founded by WWE's Paul Levesque and Stephanie McMahon. The charity is named in honor of Connor Michalek, a young WWE superfan who lost his own battle with cancer in 2014.

D&D Live continues to get more and more exciting with the addition of the always-energetic Xavier Woods and his WWE brethren. The revival of G4 has brought together a great group of gaming talent from across the Internet, and that's making gaming-focused gatherings like this all the more notable, even if last year's shindig was equally as stacked with talent. It's all the better when it comes to raising money for a great cause like Connor's Cure. This year's D&D Live is sure to be an event fans won't want to miss.
