Jersey Shore fans are speculating that Ronnie Ortiz Magro and his girlfriend, Saffire Matos, got engaged this weekend. They have used some impressive detective skills to piece together different photos seen on social media in order to make this accusation. If this is in fact true that Ronnie and Saffire did get engaged, fans fear for her, calling her naïve. They are also theorizing that she may be pregnant, which could have ultimately rushed the engagement.
Although Ronnie's new relationship with Saffire was initially perceived as being healthier than his last one with his baby mama Jen Harley, this perception was quickly changed. In fact, the Jersey Shore star's relationship with Saffire is just as messy. Back in April, Ronnie was arrested for domestic violence. Saffire called the police for help after a heated argument between the couple turned physical. Upon their arrival, Saffire had physical signs of abuse. Ronnie was later released on $100,000 bail.
Since his arrest, Jersey Shore's Ronnie and Saffire have remained together, working hard to prove they are happy. Now they may be taking their relationship to the next level. One Reddit user used some impressive detective skills to piece together the speculation that Ronnie and Saffire got engaged this weekend. The user explained that a party planning company posted a photo of a recent engagement set-up they did. In front of the beach set-up in the photo, a man's hand can be seen holding the woman's hand, showing off the engagement ring. The dress the mystery woman was wearing was the same dress Saffire was seen wearing on her Instagram Story earlier in the day on Saturday. The skin tone of the man's arm as well as the watch he was wearing looks similar to Ronnie's.
The event planning company that posted the engagement photos is based in Los Angeles, where Ronnie currently resides. While Saffire is originally from New York, she spends much of her time in Los Angeles with Ronnie at his home. The photo including the newly-engaged couple has since been deleted from the company's Instagram page; however, as of this writing, the photo of the engagement set-up is still on their Instagram Story. If this was in fact Ronnie and Saffire's engagement, fans are mocking the Jersey Shore star for planning a "cheap" proposal. One user joked, "I think he blew all his money on court fees and drugs."
Users also pieced together a theory claiming that Saffire may actually be pregnant, which would have ultimately rushed an engagement because the champagne was not only cheap but also non-alcoholic. Both Ronnie and Saffire have yet to confirm or deny these engagement rumors; however, the speculations are perceived as believable. Jersey Shore fans are fearing for Saffire as she continues to be naïve in her relationship.
