Teen Wolf: 10 Events That Changed Everything | ScreenRant

MTV brought the television adaptation of Teen Wolf to life with supernatural drama, action, adventure, and comedy. Scott McCall's life is average until the night a werewolf bites him. Then, everything changes. Scott's transformation triggers a new mentor/mentee relationship with Derek Hale and a catalyst for Stiles to start searching into the depths of the supernatural. However, it also does a lot to help Scott's talents on the lacrosse field.

But, Scott becoming a werewolf did not only change his life. It also triggered changes in the lives of nearly everyone around or close to him. From discovering the supernatural to becoming a supernatural creature themselves, the McCall Pack constantly faced a new enemy. But, of all the plot twists and storylines the series had to offer, some stuck out as events that changed everything for everyone.

10 Scott Becomes A Werewolf

When Stiles asked Scott to join him in searching for a dead body, neither believed their night would end with Scott getting bitten by a werewolf. But that is exactly what happened. Their next day at school finds Scott dealing with the beginning of his powers coming into focus, including faster reflexes and enhanced hearing.

Without this occurring, it is unlikely that so many other events in the series would have occurred. After transforming, much of Scott's journey is learning how to deal with being a werewolf and wishing not to be a monster.

9 Scott And Argent Become Allies

At first, Chris Argent appears as Allison's father and someone Scott recognizes as a werewolf hunter. Allison comes from a family of hunters, which makes their romance a form of forbidden love. But, Chris eventually recognizes that Scott is not a bad guy.

Between caring for Allison and being on the same side against some of Beacon Hills' enemies, Scott and Chris form many alliances together. Even after Allison's death, Scott and Chris remain firm allies and friends, with the hunter helping Scott save newly transformed werewolves and even dating his mother, Melissa.

8 Peter Bites Lydia

On the night of the dance, Peter bites Lydia. Normally, a bite from a werewolf could either transform the person into a werewolf or kill them. But, neither of these happens to Lydia. So, instead, the group spends much of season 2 trying to figure out if this new mysterious enemy they're facing is actually Lydia.

Lydia must be something, and Stiles is determined to figure out what, as Peter's bite seemed to activate something in Lydia, which is eventually revealed to be her Banshee powers.

7 Stilinski And Melissa Learn About The Supernatural

For a while, Scott and Stiles kept the supernatural a secret from their parents. So, Melissa and Noah remained in the dark about the true events occurring in Beacon Hills. But, there came the point where the boys could no longer keep the harsh reality from their parents.

However, Melissa and Noah learning the truth ended up benefitting everyone. The two could help the McCall Pack without anyone having to keep secrets from them anymore.

6 The Nemeton

To find and save their parents, Scott, Stiles, and Allison must risk their lives. In doing so, they come across the Nemeton, an ancient and powerful tree that attracts the supernatural. But, while they do save their parents, that is not the end of it.

Stiles, Scott, and Allison all experience changes to their minds in the aftermath. But, for Stiles, the following events are far worse. He becomes possessed by a Nogitsune, and only after the Nogitsune has removed itself from Stiles' body can they kill the Nogitsune.

5 Scott Becomes A True Alpha

To rise in a pack, a Beta must kill the Alpha in a fight, thus taking up the mantle. Scott didn't need to kill anyone at all. Just by the content of his character, Scott naturally rose to True Alpha. His choices to spare lives and save people instead of killing them are huge parts of how Scott views the world. Scott steps into the leadership role even more so after becoming a True Alpha.

4 Allison Dies

Scott is forced to say goodbye to his first love in one of the most heartbreaking moments in the series. Allison had gone with her friends to save Lydia from Void Stiles, and the group had nearly succeeded. But, sadly, it ends in tragedy.

In the end, Allison is killed, saving her friends, leaving her friends and family to mourn her. After Allison's death, Argent and Isaac leave Beacon Hills behind. Although Chris does return later, he does so with the new mentality Allison had left him before she died.

3 Scott Bites Liam

Scott had made a point never to bite anyone. But, to save Liam's life, he had no choice but to bite him. Afterward, Scott and Liam deal with the consequences Liam must face now being a werewolf.

With Scott now in a similar role Derek once played to him, Scott must find a way to encourage Liam to embrace being a werewolf and join their pack. However, Liam's anger issues make his adjustment period more difficult.

2 Ghost Riders Take Stiles

Stiles had been an integral part of the McCall Pack since the beginning. He held close relationships with all of his friends and would have made a large impression on them. So, when Stiles is suddenly wiped from everyone's memory after being taken by Ghost Riders, it is fascinating to watch Scott, Lydia, and Malia try to figure out the mystery behind a person they know is missing.

It tests Lydia's relationship and connection with Stiles above everyone else's as she is the most determined to find Stiles, believing he is real. Scott, Lydia, and Malia group together to remember Stiles more fully and eventually manage to help bring him back to their realm.

1 Gerard Argent Strikes Fear Into Beacon Hills

Normally, the McCall Pack are the unsung heroes of Beacon Hills. They save the day without anyone realizing their double identities as high school students and supernatural. But Gerard Argent changes that up in the final season. He uses the town's fear against the McCall Pack, having it all be centered on Scott and his friends.

The werewolves are now prey to the human hunters who are terrified of them. In the finale, the McCall Pack have left Beacon Hills searching for nearly transformed werewolves to protect them and have them join their pack.
