The much-anticipated reunion contains many tear-jerking moments, and fans, in particular, took to Twitter to share their emotional reactions.

10 Fans Crying Like Rachel During The Reunion

Rachel cries a lot throughout the show. In one episode, Mr. Treeger (the building superintendent) makes her cry when she clogs up the trash disposal with pizza boxes.

A Twitter user created a collage of Rachel crying to display their reaction to the reunion. During the whole special, they were weeping like Rachel. Many fans can agree it was easy to tear up whenever the cast was on the screen together — which was the entire time.

9 The One Where Everybody Finds Out...Again

A fan-favorite episode of Friends is "The One Where Everybody Finds Out." Phoebe sees Monica and Chandler having sex in their apartment that's across from Ross' new place. Rachel urges her to be quiet as Ross doesn't know that they are together yet.

The cast reads the script of this scene. Lisa Kudrow especially gets into it, full-on screaming as she did in the episode. While this moment is hilarious, it also makes viewers teary-eyed due to nostalgia.

8 Emma Geller-Green Still Has Her Grandparents

There were many surprise guest stars during the reunion. Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, and Thomas Lennon all made appearances. Christina Pickles and Elliott Gould, who played Monica and Ross' parents, also attended the reunion.

7 Friends On And Off-Screen

Matthew Perry said that whenever he's bumped into one of the other five cast members over the years, he'll spend the whole night talking to them. The rest of the cast agrees with his sentiment. The six of them have an unbreakable bond.

Not all television casts are as good of friends off-screen as they are on. But, the cast of Friends genuinely cares about one another. Fans love that the six actors get along so well.

6 The Reenactment Of Ross And Rachel's First Kiss

One of the scenes the cast re-read was Ross and Rachel's first kiss. Rachel accidentally confesses her feelings for Ross on his answering machine while drunk. This leads to Ross and Rachel arguing in the coffee shop the next day, and the scene ends with them passionately kissing.

Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer pull at viewers' heartstrings. This tweet gushes about their performance and how "they hold each other's gaze." They embody their characters so well, even after all of these years.

5 Reminiscing About Chandler And Monica's Relationship

The reunion also touched on the importance of Monica and Chandler's relationship. The creators of the show were thrilled by the audience's live reaction to their hook-up in London. So, the writers explored their dynamic further in the following season.

3 The Cast Then Vs. Now

Once Monica and Chandler’s twins are born, they decide to move out of the city. Chandler tells the twins before they leave the apartment, “This was your first home, and it was a happy place filled with love and laughter.” He also jokes about how it was a steal due to rent control.

This tweet uses Chandler’s quote as a caption. The picture shows the Friends cast then and now. While time has gone by, the cast still loves one another.

1 Another Goodbye
