Here's where to find the animated adventure JLA Adventures: Trapped In Time, including whether it's available on Netflix, Hulu or Prime. While they go by the Justice League name now, the titular team was originally called the Justice Society of America when the comics series debuted in the 1940s. The JLA featured classic members like Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman and many more characters have graced the team in the decades since. Given the enduring popularity of the Justice League, they've had a few TV adaptations too, including the classic Super Friends cartoon and Justice League Unlimited. A Justice League Of America TV pilot was produced in the late 1990s, but its infamously shoddy quality saw that it never went to series.
The saga of Zack Snyder's Justice League has been well-documented by now. When the director stepped away from the movie due to a family tragedy, Warner Bros brought on Joss Whedon to repropose Snyder's footage and combine it will newly filmed material to make a brighter, funnier blockbuster. This 2017 movie was instead a hodgepodge of clashing tones that bore little in common with Snyder's intentions for the project. Years later, and after a fan-backed campaign, the helmer finally got to release his epic, four-hour-long Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021.
They've also been the subjects of many animated movies, including Justice League: Doom, Justice League Dark and JLA Adventures: Trapped In Time. This DTV release saw Lex Luthor become frozen during a battle with the League in the Arctic Ocean. He eventually thaws out in the 31st Century, and decides to travel back in time to prevent Kal-El coming to Earth, and thus, stop the formation of the League. It's a fun adventure for younger fans, but where can it be viewed online?
JLA Adventures: Trapped In Time isn't on services like Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime, but it can be streamed on HBO Max. It's also easily available to rent or purchase from iTunes, Vudu, YouTube, DirecTV and others from prices starting at $3.99.
In addition to Superman, the hero and villain line-up for JLA Adventures: Trapped In Time also includes Wonder Woman, Robin, Time Trapper, Bizarro, Flash and, of course, Batman. The latter is voiced by Diedrich Bader, who also voiced the hero in Batman: The Brave And The Bold too. The movie is also notable for featuring Dante Bosco's Karate Kid and Laura Bailey's Dawnstar, two young heroes who travel back to warn the Justice League of Lex's evil scheme.
