Microsoft has announced several games coming to Xbox Game Pass this July, adding not only titles new to the subscription service but also cloud support for many existing hits. Xbox Game Pass offers games a huge selection of games to play across consoles and PC, including exclusive and Day One Xbox releases.
Xbox Game Pass recently added Xbox Cloud Gaming for all members of the Game Pass Ultimate tier. Previously only available as a beta test on Android devices, Xbox Cloud Gaming has now officially launched in full. The service allows gamers to wirelessly connect their Xbox controller to mobile devices to play compatible Game Pass through their phone or tablet. While not all Xbox Game Pass games support cloud usage, there's a good number that do, including Remedy Entertainment's Control. Xbox Cloud Gaming makes the service more accessible than ever. Using a web browser, the latest Xbox Cloud Gaming update means that players can now use Windows 10 PCs, as well as Apple devices to access the service.
Xbox's next slew of Game Pass additions welcomes new games and offers additional support for existing ones. As noted by the official Xbox Wire blog, Bloober Team horror title The Medium will be available via cloud play from July 15, while Dragon Quest Builders 2 will also get cloud support on July 8. Meanwhile, the service will add three games new to the service: Tropico 6 will be available on cloud, console, and PC from July 8, while Farming Simulator 19 and Bloodroots will be available on cloud, console, and PC from July 15. Finally, UFC 4 is coming to EA Play on July 8, only available on console.
These aren't the only games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July, as Microsoft previously announced Limbo, Worms Rumble, Banjo-Kazoozie: Nuts & Bolts, and more will also be added to the service. As always, the new additions mean some games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass. EA Sports UFC and EA Sports UFC 2 will leave Game Pass' EA Play on July 14, while Downwell, Endless Space, and CrossCode will follow suit on July 15.
Xbox Game Pass is now one of the most robust and budget-friendly ways for players to experience a huge selection of titles. Thanks to Microsoft's purchase of ZenixMax Media, a fantastic range of Bethesda games are on Xbox Game Pass, including unmissable classics like Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The service has been praised for its myriad of games and affordable price model, and is recognized as one of the best value-for-money gaming subscription services, especially when compared to the likes of PlayStation Now and Nintendo Switch Online.
Xbox Game Pass is available now.
