90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 star Alina has reacted to fans asking Steven Johnston to chop off his long hair. New cast member Steven gave 90 Day Fiancé fans a lot to talk about after his episode 1 debut, from his awkward laughs, farts, and jokes about selling Alina’s organs. TLC viewers could predict that Steven was going to be a riot in the 2021 edition of TOW as he spoke of getting married to the Russian girl he’d spent just two weeks with. However, Alina’s opinion on Steven’s hair means that this pair is still together and meant to be.
Utah-based Steven revealed that he was currently working as a salesman for pest control although he’s not passionate about it. The 90 Day Fiancé star Steven described himself as a little bit different who doesn’t blend in well with other people as he doesn’t “pick up on certain things.” When Steven was 19, he lived in Eastern Europe for a mission and learned Russian, which eventually helped him woo Alina on a language app. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member Steven plans to move to Turkey with Alina and get married so he could gain entry into Russia. While Steven’s story is interesting as he also has a secret he’s been hiding, fans were intrigued by his introduction on the premiere episode. “Hair looking okay?” TOW's young new star Steven asked the cameras as the producer joked, “always, yeah.”
Incidentally, that’s what Steven’s future wife Alina thinks as well. The camera showed Steven brushing his long hair calling it a “mane” which is “like a lion” and so luscious. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans didn’t agree with the 25-year-old Utah native when throwback photos of him with short hair flashed on the screen. “Steven needs to go back to that short haircut,” wrote a fan @91stDay who also thought that there was something about how the long hair looks on him that made the organ harvesting comments sound even creepier. Another TLC viewer @realitytvbyjake spoke on behalf of all the fans when he posted, “CUT YOUR HAIR PLEASE!” and felt that there’s no argument about Steven looking “way better with short hair.” Meanwhile, Alina, took to her Instagram stories to post, “why does everyone say that Steven better cut his hair off???” As per Alina, her 90 Day Fiancé partner Steven “looks good no matter what his hair length is 🤷”
It was revealed by 90 Day Fiancé on Twitter that the first thing that Steven noticed about Alina was her beautiful hair, which eventually inspired him to grow his own hair out. With the newbie lovebirds being so smitten with each other, it doesn’t appear that Steven will take the opinion of fans over his Russian soulmate’s opinion.
