The wife of Charlie Potthast is furious with the family after Libby and Andrei Castravet were joined by family patriarch Chuck Potthast during the Happily Ever After Tell-All. Megan didn't hold back from letting her in-laws know how she feels about the chaotic 90 Day Fiancé family in a scathing social media statement.
Charlie has notoriously been against his brother-in-law Andrei, which finally culminated in a physical fight during the Happily Ever After finale. Charlie appeared visibly intoxicated as he instigated the heated altercation. Despite equally disliking Andrei, Charlie and Libby's sister even admitted that Charlie was to blame. It was revealed during the Tell-All that though Chuck still allows Andrei to work in the family house flipping business he started, Charlie is on the outs with his family. Charlie's potential substance abuse issues and tense family relations were discussed before a wired Charlie joined his estranged family on stage.
After Charlie's estranged relationships and unhealthy behavior were discussed during the Tell-All, Megan furiously took to her Instagram Story to blast her in-laws in a scathing statement that was quickly shared to the r/90dayfianceuncensored Reddit. "Just watched part 2 of the Tell All and it makes me want to barf the way my husbands family talk about him. Disgusting 🤮 They say he is toxic? No… all his family that talk crap and spread lies about him are toxic. Cancelling us out of the family and saying he’s toxic to make themselves feel better?! Joke! I guess my kids are toxic too because you have nothing to do with them either,” Megan's statement reads.
Reddit commenters were overwhelmingly against Megan and Charlie. Though Libby and Andrei often receive criticism, many viewers believe that they are in the right when it comes to Charlie. Commenters believe that Megan and Charlie behave in a trashy manner and cannot understand why Charlie is so threatened by Andrei, who is trying to support his sister. Many fans think that Charlie needs serious help for his anger and clear signs of substance abuse that even his family called out. "Honey your husband has a substance abuse problem. 'Toxic' is a euphemism. And a nice one at that," one fan wrote. Many agreed that Charlie was the one in the wrong. "If you are in a room with Andrei and you some how look like the biggest d*uche bag in the room, you may want to look in the mirror," another fan observed.
