Now that it's August, fans claim to have seen the new cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht filming the new season. Last year, the show was filmed between August and September, however, the original start date was likely pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 2 of the series included a whole new crew from season 1 besides Captain Glenn Shephard, who returned as the head of the Parsafil III sailing crew.
Last season, the viewers were introduced to chief stew Daisy Kelliher, her interior team Dani Soares and Alli Dore, first mate Gary King, his deckhand Sydney Zaruba and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanuax, chief engineer Colin Macrae, and Chef Natasha De Bourg. Judging by fan reactions, season 2 was the best BDSY season to date, as the plethora of drama and charter guests onboard made for an interesting season. Not to mention the off-screen drama between Dani and JL's regarding the paternity of her newborn baby girl.
The Instagram account @belowdecksailing shared a photo on Monday of the new cast of BDSY filming season 3 in Mahon, Menorca in Spain. While it is unclear who is sitting at the table, there are a few faces that look to be familiar. The woman on the far right with her hand leaning against her face looks very similar to last season's chief stew, Daisy. However, a fan in the comment section wasn't so sure about her return. They said, "Very disappointing that Daisy isn’t back," to which the account owner replied, "What makes you say that? Might want to check her IG Story." The fan then said, "someone asked in this thread if her and Gary were back, and someone answered that she sadly wasn’t."
However, the viewer does hope what she saw was wrong and would be "very happy" if Daisy made a return. As for any other returning crews, fans are spotting other familiar faces. Several people wrote in the comment section that they think Gary and Colin are in the photo. In a recent Reddit thread, another second fan said that Colin admitted in one of his latest YouTube videos that he accepted another job on a superyacht. Nonetheless, it is unclear if he meant Parsafil III or another yacht. As for Gary, he recently shared two selfies to his Instagram with his location tagged as Menorca. In one of the photos, the first mate looks to be taking the snap on top of Parsifal's teak.
Even though none of the crew members for season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been confirmed, fans are happy to see three people from last season are possibly returning. Nonetheless, fans are excited to see how and if season 3 will top last season.
