Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Hilarious Glitches That Are Still In The Game

2020's Cyberpunk 2077 may have had a number of issues upon its release but the developers, CD Projekt, have been working hard to ensure that most of the glitches have been ironed out. There have been a number of patches since the title's release, although that doesn't mean every glitch has been removed from the game.

Much to the delight and frustration of fans, there's still a number of hilarious glitches featured throughout the game. While they are much fewer in number and of course difficult to totally remove due to the size of Cyberpunk 2077, they are nonetheless pretty funny to behold when chaos begins to rain down on the game.

10 Car City

A lot of work has gone into creating a beautiful city set within the Cyberpunk genre. From the skyscrapers to the vehicles, everything has been painstakingly worked on to the most finite detail, to ensure players have an immersive experience. Unfortunately, the cars of the game seem a little... similar.

Although the game has changed since its launch with many patches, one glitch that still remains sees the streets of the city at night completely full of the exact same car. Perhaps there was a local sale that buyers thought was worth capitalizing on, but it definitely makes for an amusing image.

9 Cashing In

Money is such an important part of Cyberpunk 2077 considering players won't get very far without it. It can take some time to build up enough cash and audiences might have to carry out a number of complex missions in order to buy that next item from the store.

However, there are a number of glitches that allow players to build up cash quickly. One such way sees players hilariously claim the same bounty, again and again, completely cheating the system in every sense. It might be funny that it can be carried out so easily but it's also pretty useful rather than just being frustrating.

8 Vehicle Spawning

Players are able to spawn vehicles into the game to make a quick getaway or move around the city. Normally this is a smooth transition, with the car, bike, or other such vehicle turning up ready for use. But one player has noticed a hilarious bug when they try to bring their own car into the action.

Spawning a vehicle has resulted in another suddenly flipping upside down for absolutely no reason. As the vehicle bursts into flames, an NPC can be seen escaping from the car, only to float above the destroyed motor vehicle. It's a strange bug but one that needs to be seen to be believed.

7 Running Through Doors

There's plenty of examples of this glitch throughout the game and although most have been patched there are still moments where this can happen for NPCs all over again. Doors are supposed to keep people out, right? Well, not in the sci-fi-influenced world of Cyberpunk 2077

As demonstrated, NPCs are able to run straight through solid objects without any problem whatsoever. Why they are running is a mystery, but perhaps there's some kind of cool gadgets that will allow the player to pull off something similar.

6 Versatile Weapons

Fans may remember that developers CD Projekt had previously mentioned that there would be a vehicle combat system built into the game. The final version of the title that went to launch didn't really contain anything like this, but some glitches reveal what was left behind by the concept.

Most notably is when players try to use their weapons inside of vehicles. While it makes sense that they can hang out of a window and fire off rounds, there's also evidence that players can bring their guns inside the car. The physics are completely removed though, as the player hilarious waves around their weapon, through the dashboard, steering wheel, and any other physical object.

5 The Chaotic Vendor

NPCs can certainly cause a lot of trouble in the game and some of their glitches are reasons as to why Cyberpunk 2077 had such an infamous launch. One player has a great example of a vendor in action, causing chaos and destruction simply by walking through their stall.

The vendor casually moves through the space, completely unaware of the objects around them. This in turn causes the whole lot to move, fall and crash against one another leaving a complete mess. In the real world, they'd probably be fired for such carelessness.

4 The Never-Ending Ladder

Climbing ladders should be pretty easy in the world of Cyberpunk. It's just one foot after another. Yet a recurring glitch sees players and NPCs having great difficulties when scaling these heights, with the ladder seemingly going on and on and on.

One player documented their experience, first getting knocked off the ladder by an NPC and then seeing that the NPC had seemingly climbed the same ladder three times without ever making it to the top. It appears that an alternative route might have to be found!

3 Exploding Cars Strike Again

While the experience of players watching NPCs tries to escape exploding cars is nothing new, another glitch appears to allow them to float away as well. Although something similar was previously mentioned, this bug takes the hilarious moment to the next level.

It appears that not only have players witnessed the NPCs strangely standing atop the broken vehicles, but will actually float away from the car to get to safety. Unfortunately, in this case, the NPC then returned to the car as it explodes, meaning this rescue attempt was all for naught.

2 Along For The Ride

Vehicles continue to be a major problem in the game and many unpopular opinions state that it might be one of the major weaknesses of the title. Regardless, some glitches involving motorbikes and cars are pretty hilarious. For example; when players get stuck in the middle of walls.

Walking through physical objects has already been a documented bug, but what players can also do is drive straight through a wall and then ride off with it still stuck on the back of a motorbike. The physics still seems to work considering it throws the bike off balance, but it's definitely not supposed to happen.

1 Third Person Problems

Although Cyberpunk 2077 is famous for its first-person perspective, that doesn't mean players haven't come across a few different camera angles within some of the bugs left in the game. Every time the camera zooms out it shows an unflattering display of the character in question.

The game wasn't designed to work from this angle and as such looks ridiculous from a third-person perspective. This player managed to trigger the glitch when riding a motorbike for example and it certainly showcases why sticking to the initial view is better.
