Invincible: The 10 Best Powers, Ranked | ScreenRant

The Amazon animated series Invincible is popular for being a violent and intense superhero story. But as shocking as the blood and gore can be, it never forgets to have fun with the genre. And one of the hallmarks of a superhero story is showcasing all the fun superpowers that the audience wishes they had.

In the world of Invincible, superpowered individuals seem to be around every corner. Some are heroes and some are villains, but only a select group show off powers that are truly impressive and can allow the characters to be incredibly formidable or just allow them to have a lot of fun.

10 Shrinking Rae

Though she may be one of the least interesting characters of the Teen Team, it's hard to deny that Shrinking Rae's powers could be a lot of fun to have. Much like Marvel's smallest hero Ant-Man, Shrinking Rae has the ability to shrink herself down to a tiny size.

Being able to shrink down to the size of a bug seems like one of those powers that would be endlessly fun to have. Seeing the world from that perspective and slipping into hidden places would be a blast. It also comes in handy in a fight as Shrinking Rae is nearly impossible to catch yet can still pack a punch when shrunken down.

9 Green Ghost

Unlike the other members of the Guardians of the Globe, Green Ghost doesn't have a clear counterpart in the DC universe. However, she does have a pretty impressive superpower that really comes in handy when saving the day.

Though the source of her powers is not quite clear, it appears that Green Ghost consumes an amulet that allows her to phase through objects. She can also transfer that power to people she touches, allowing falling debris to harmlessly pass through innocent bystanders. She is able to pass through walls, closed doors, and even punches. It's like being a ghost without having to be dead.

8 Dupli-Kate

Another member of the Teen Team is Dupli-Kate who has perhaps the most enjoyable name as well as cool powers. She is able to duplicate herself several times over which is a dream come true for anyone who wants to multitask.

Being able to multiply would be pretty cool for everyday activities, and because of this, Kate is seen as one of the more efficient heroes. But Dupli-Kate also proves it is a great power in a battle scenario. She is able to overwhelm the enemy and gang up on them. She is able to be an entire super-team all on her own.

7 Rex Splode

Rex Splode is one of the more arrogant and sometimes obnoxious heroes on the show. He also might think of himself as more powerful than he actually is, but that's not to diminish his actually impressive abilities.

Similar to the X-Men member Gambit, Rex is about to turn anything he touches into an explosive device. In a fight, he is never without a weapon. This is shown to be especially helpful when the team faces a tough fight and needs to improvise. Rex is able to fight back with anything he can get his hands on, even using his own knocked-out teeth at one point.

6 Isotope

Isotope is not really a character who stands out much in the show as he is just a henchman for the crime boss, Machine Head. But not only is he one of the smarter villains in Invincible, but he is also far too powerful to be a simple lackey.

Isotope is able to teleport himself and others anywhere he wants. In an age where travel is a lot more difficult than it used to be, such a power is something anyone would want to have. When Invincible attacks, Isotope is able to transport other villains to take on the hero. And when things start to turn against the bad guys, Isotope always has a quick getaway.

5 War Woman

One of the key members of the Guardians of the Globe, War Woman is the clear counterpart of Wonder Woman in the DC universe. And just like Wonder Woman, War Woman is about to have an ordinary life by day and turn into a powerful warrior when crime strikes.

War Woman is one of the most physically powerful characters on the show, as shown when she easily beats the Mauler Twins. Along with her superstrength, War Woman is also able to fly and is super fast, giving her yet another advantage over many of the others. Add to that her powerful mace, and War Woman can go toe-to-toe with just about anyone.

4 Invincible

The main character of the story is Mark Grayson aka Invincible, who is a young teen discovering his newfound powers. It is always fun to see these types of origin stories unfold and imagine what it would be like to have powers like that.

As intense as Invincible's crimefighting can get, he sure does have a lot of fun with those powers, flying all around the world, traveling into space, and even having the most epic game of catch. Over time, Mark also proves himself to be a powerful warrior with his powers continuing to grow. Before long, he shows potential to be as powerful as Omni Man himself.

3 Immortal

Being the leader of the Guardians of the Globe is no small feat and would take a very powerful being to take on such a position. The Immortal is more than up to the challenge as he possesses incredible strength as well as the ability to fly.

However, the most interesting part of The Immortal's powers is that he is actually immortal. He has been alive for centuries, witnessed monumental moments in history, and was even apparently Abraham Lincoln. He is killed along with the rest of the Guardians of the Globe only to be brought back to life. Even for superheroes, coming back to life is impressive.

2 Atom Eve

Atom Eve was first introduced as another teen superhero who was in the earlier days of her crime-fighting career. She is another lucky hero who has the ability to fly, but it is her control over atoms that makes her so impressive.

She is able to grow stronger as well as manipulate objects and organisms around her. This includes creating crops out of nowhere. Though she is still learning and growing more powerful with endless possibilities to what she can do. There are clearly a lot more great things to come from Atom Eve.

1 Omni Man

Omni-Man's powers are not particularly unique as far as superheroes go. He has superstrength and he has the ability to fly, feeling similar to a hero like Superman. But he proves himself to be the most powerful being on Earth when he murders the Guardians of the Globe single-handedly.

Even if his powers are rather run-of-the-mill, Omni-Man is so powerful that he is virtually unstoppable. He takes down any foe he comes across, usually with complete ease. At first, that made him an ideal hero, but when he revealed himself to be evil, it made him terrifying as he could destroy Earth by himself if he wanted to.
