Married At First Sight: Sean Varricchio Update After Season 2

Sean Varricchio starred on Married At First Sight season 2 back in 2015, and here's what he's been up to since his disappointing reality TV experience. Sean's journey on the dating show didn't end in the long-lasting marriage he had hoped for, but the alum has made the most of his time after his divorce on Married At First Sight. From his comments on his unsuccessful marriage experiment to his new wife and child, here's everything to know about Sean's life post-Married At First Sight.

Sean made his reality television debut on the season 2 premiere on March 17, 2015. Married At First Sight's season 2 paired hopeful romantics living in the New York and northern New Jersey regions. When he was recruited to get married to a stranger at the altar over 6 years ago, Sean was 35 years old and working as a trauma nurse. Sean was matched with Davina Kullar, a 34-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative. Initially, Sean and Davina clicked because of their mutual attraction and shared medical interests. Sean and Davina's relationship started to unravel by the honeymoon; however, as the two discovered, they had very little in common. One prominent conflict the relationship experts of Married At First Sight saw with Sean and Davina was that they weren't able to come to an agreement on where to live.

Sean is from New Jersey, and Davina knew she wanted to raise a family in New York City. Sean and Davina ended up spending a great deal of their marriage apart due to the distance between their East Coast homes. On top of neither newlywed budging on where they wanted to live, Sean and Davina had problems getting along. Sean called Davina egocentric and waited until the two were speaking with relationship experts to bring up the issues he had with Davina instead of discussing them with her directly. On Decision Day, it was no shock that Sean and Davina chose not to pursue their marriage further. After Married At First Sight, Sean spoke to New York Postwhere he reflected on why he believed he and his ex Davina Kullar got divorced. Sean admitted that “Things were tense” between him and his ex-wife. Sean confessed, "I was constantly walking on eggshells."

Although he didn't end up married to the love of his life on Married At First Sight, Sean was able to find his own happy ending after the reality show. He is private on his Instagram account, @daddysharkrn, but Sean included vital information about his post-reality television life in his bio. According to the alum's Instagram, Sean is, once again, a husband, although his new spouse's identity remains a secret. Additionally, Sean's bio states that he is the father of a baby girl, Ellie. Lastly, his family also includes their dog, Finn. Sean is not private on his Twitter, but he mostly tweets about the Miami Dolphins rather than any fascinating life updates of his own. Since Sean's divorce from Davina, the father and husband has worked as a nurse in the ER.

Sean wasn't paired with his soulmate on Married At First Sight, but he has found happiness since leaving the reality show. From walking on eggshells to getting married and having a daughter, Sean has built the life he couldn't with Davina. Although he was let down by his Married At First Sight experience, he proved he didn't need an expert to find his perfect fit.
