Tammy Slaton's behavior on and off of 1000-lb Sisters has aggravated many viewers and even led to her getting banned from the viral video-sharing app TikTok. Before Tammy starred on a reality show, she was popular on social media sites like YouTube, but the television personality has struggled to expand her influence to TikTok. From the 1000-lb Sisters star getting accused of scamming fans to lying about her age, here's why Tammy won't be welcomed back to TikTok any time soon.
Before starring on 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy and Amy Slaton garnered fame on YouTube. On the channel, Amy and Tammy posted a variety of videos from storytimes to makeup tutorials. The Slaton sisters' YouTube channel quickly accrued dozens of millions of views, proving that Tammy and Amy's content is in high demand. The pair's success on 1000-lb Sisters further demonstrated Tammy and Amy's appeal, but the stars have struggled to translate this popularity to their social media accounts. Although Tammy had amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on her TikTok account @queentammy86, she doesn't have access to that profile any longer.
Recently, fans started to notice that Tammy's account was scrubbed of all its content. According to Cheat Sheet, when coming across Tammy's former page, a message read: "This account was banned due to multiple Community Guidelines violations." Tammy had over 1 million followers who were subscribed to the star's account for her unique content and points of view. Currently, only fake accounts pretending to be Tammy can be found on TikTok. While it is unclear exactly which community guidelines Tammy violated, fans have some certain guesses. One main hypothesis is that Tammy was scamming fans with her merchandise. Tammy promoted merch in her TikTok videos, but the products she sold were based on the work of uncredited artists. Tammy allegedly took money from her merch sales as donations rather than legitimate payment, making it a business too sketchy to exist on TikTok.
Additionally, 1000-lb Sisters fans claimed that Tammy's TikTok account was taken down because the reality star lied about her age on the profile. A Reddit wrote, "[Tammy] said people reported her for 'not doing cameos' and lied and said she was underage." It is against the community rules to lie about your age and can result in getting banned if enough people report a creator. Tammy has also been criticized for her Cameo videos. Tammy's clients on Cameo actively complain about the reality star's poor quality videos and claim that the business is a scam as she never completely requests satisfactorily.
Tammy might've been the queen of TikTok, but her reign has come to an untimely end due to some community guideline violations. From allegedly selling unlicensed merchandise to not being upfront about her actual age, Tammy's followers think the reality star was bound to get a permanent suspension. Fortunately, Tammy is not banned from her starring role on 1000-lb Sisters.
