90 Day Fiancé: Evelin Reveals The Only Money Corey Gave To Build Bar

Evelin Villegas from 90 Day Fiancé denied getting any huge monetary help from Corey Rathgeber and revealed that he only gave her $200 to build her first cocktail bar. Many viewers think that the Ecuadorian native takes advantage of her American husband and tries to trick him out of his money. A few episodes ago on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Evelin wanted to have a lavish Ecuadorian wedding that could cost up to $50,000. Corey was reluctant to spend that much money on the wedding, but Evelin told him that she wanted to make her friends jealous of her big fat wedding.

Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers were so shocked to learn the potential cost of the wedding that they called Evelin a scammer. Fans found Evelin's actions highly suspicious because she didn't want to get married at first, but then she was excited to have an extravagant event. Some fans even said that she could have made a deal with the wedding planner to scam Corey. But the couple isn't having an official wedding ceremony anymore. In fact, Evelin has asked Corey to sign divorce papers to dissolve their courthouse wedding.

Evelin also claimed that Corey didn't give more than $200 to set up her beach bar. During a Q&A session on Instagram, a 90 Day Fiancé fan asked Evelin, "Didn't Corey pay for most of the bar to even be built?" The TLC star denied getting any major monetary help from Corey and cleared up the confusion. She wrote, "I appreciate his $200 help back in the day but that was it." Evelin claimed that she had her cocktail bar even before she met Corey, and he helped her with that once. She added, "We also were living with the money we were making from it. Now I started a new one in a new location and it is fully mine."

90 Day Fiancé star Evelin revealed that the cocktail bar that Corey helped her with doesn't exist anymore. Evelin now has a new bar on which she spent "thousands and thousands of dollars," and it is "truly and completely" hers. Previously, many fans were under the impression that Corey gave Evelin $40,000, which was his entire life savings. But Corey revealed during a Q&A that he didn't hand over that much money to Evelin. He claimed that a very minimal amount was spent on the bar, and most of the money was used to buy the real estate.

Evelin finally settled the discussion that she never got $40,000 from Corey, which was many 90 Day Fiancé viewers' biggest concern. The Washington native may seem madly in love with Evelin, but he acted rationally and invested his money by buying properties. Now many fans will be interested in knowing who is the owner of those properties. Is it Corey, who isn't ready to divorce Evelin, or both the stars? 90 Day Fiancé fans would definitely like to know that.
