Call of Duty's Black Ops Cold War recently added a new map for the Halloween season: Forsaken. Forsaken introduced a lot of big changes to Zombies in Black Ops Cold War, but one of its more engaging additions is the inclusion of a seemingly innocuous arcade that players can visit.
Forsaken is the finale for the game's Zombies storyline, and it's been loaded with fun easter eggs, a mix of new and nostalgic content, and many new, powerful weapons. It also hosts the series' first fully playable Arcade since the release of "Zombies in Spaceland" for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Players may want to rush into the new Main Quest easter egg, but they'll miss the rewards they can earn at the arcade. Not only is it fully playable, but players can also receive fun rewards and prizes. These can range from loot chests to legendary ammo and can even include Cold War Zombies Wonder Weapons.
While playing the Forsaken map, players can find Black Ops Cold War's Arcade in the "Anytown West" segment of the area. In one of the buildings, players will see a neon purple arcade sign. It is located to the left of the large movie theater.
Unfortunately, players can't dive right in and start playing at the arcade; they will need arcade tokens to play the games and start the challenges. Arcade tokens can be bought from a machine for ten thousand points. If this is the first time a player is using the arcade, they can knife the machine to get a free token.
There are three playable arcade machines inside Black Ops Cold War's Arcade, and each machine provides a challenge to complete for a reward. These games are World at War, Der Eisendrache, and Enduro, with the former two acting as Black Ops Cold War Easter Eggs. The challenge games can be played in any order, and each arcade machine costs one token to activate.
After activating the World at War arcade machine, players are teleported to Nacht der Untoten, the first Zombies map for Call of Duty World at War. Players must survive against three rounds of Zombies for two and a half minutes. Completing all waves earns players a large loot crate.
The Der Eisendrache arcade machine sends players to a small map reminiscent of Call of Duty Black Ops Ascension. Here, players must defend a rocket from three portals that spawn zombies. After killing zombies near the rocket to feed it, players will be rewarded with a gold loot crate.
Finally, the Enduro arcade machine allows players to control a Black Ops Cold War ARC-XD while attempting to drive through an obstacle course. The goal is to collect every Essence canister and Points symbol before a timer ends. After completing this challenge, players get to keep the points they collected.
Unfortunately, none of these crates allow players to unlock anything from Call of Duty Cold War's Season Six Battle Pass, but their rewards can prove to be a big help in discovering every other secret Forsaken offers this season.
Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Zombies is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
