Destiny 2: Every Week 7 Challenge In Season Of The Lost

Destiny 2 Season of the Lost week 7 challenges are now available to complete, continuing the Tale of Two Queen with Mara Sov and Savathûn. The Wayfinder's Voyage questline proceeds with its next step, more Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard Strike challenges are available, and the challenges continue to shift toward endgame content. With the release of week seven, the total number of challenges issued is 60.

Season of the Lost Grandmaster Nightfalls are finally released, and according to Bungie's TWAB on Sept. 30 players will only need to reach 1345 Power Level to access them (although the in-game recommendation is 1370). Players can easily reach this Power Level by earning Pinnacle Gear every week, as well as leveling up the Seasonal Artifact. If they're high enough level, players can earn the Ager's Scepter Exotic Trace Rifle as a Pinnacle weapon at 1330. The Seasonal Artifact level is shared between all characters on an account, and a minimum of 15 Power Levels is needed for those who are at the gear Power Level cap of 1330.

Week seven of Season of the Lost brings seven new challenges, and the challenges round out a number of themes that have been shown through previous weeks and the Seasonal Artifact Mods. Aside from the Wayfinder's Voyage VII challenge, each of the seasonal challenges in week seven is a new challenge with no continuations from previous weeks. Surprisingly, players will not have to earn either the Gambit or Vanguard Ascendancy Rocket Launcher ornaments, but they should expect these to be their own challenges in the weeks to come. Ascendancy Rocket Launcher Ornaments can be earned by reaching Rank 16 in each playlist after the first reset, and claiming the weapon ornaments will prematurely complete the challenges - and their respective rewards can be claimed in future seasonal challenge releases.

These are the week seven challenges in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost:

  • Wayfinder’s Voyage VII (Rewards 50,000 XP, Wayfinder's Compass Calibration Level, and Fractethyst Shotgun): Use the Wayfinder’s Compass to complete Wayfinder’s Voyage VII. Also, defeat Taken or Scorn with Shotguns anywhere in the system.
  • Umbral Maven (Rewards 50,000 XP and Wayfinder's Compass Calibration Level): Focus Tier III Umbral Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster in the H.E.L.M.
  • Freezerburn (Rewards 100,000 XP and Wayfinder's Compass Calibration Level): Defeat combatants with Stasis abilities, Solar abilities, or shatter damage. Combatants defeated with Solar or Stasis melee attacks award bonus progress.
  • Efficient Ley Liner (Rewards 50,000 XP and Wayfinder's Compass Calibration Level): Complete the Alignment activity in under 10 minutes.
  • Cadre of Contenders (Rewards 200,000+ XP and 300 Bright Dust): Complete Crucible matches in the Glory Rank playlist. Earn bonus progress for wins.
  • Bring a Fusion Sword (Rewards 100,000 XP and 150 Bright Dust): Defeat targets with Fusion Rifles and Swords in Gambit. Defeating Guardians grants additional progress.
  • Conquest of the Mighty (200,000+ XP and 300 Bright Dust): Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster.
