Unlocking the map in Kena: Bridge of Spirits is useful for finding where to go. This is the newest major PlayStation title to drop, and stars Kena as she is on a magical quest to make her way to the mountain summit. Along the way, Kena will be tasked with helping out various characters on the mountain and improving her magical abilities. The game does feature a map that players can unlock fairly early on. This map will make it much easier to know where to go, highlight important side-quests, and layout the various paths of the mountain.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a game that becomes very easy to get lost in. The environments for the most part are these lush-green forests with brightly colored bushes and trees. It becomes incredibly easy to lose track of where the player has already been. Fortunately, the map makes it easier to point players in the right direction. It also makes it easier to find the Rots, an adorable set of spirits that act as the game's main collectible item.
Players will be able to unlock the map automatically by playing through the main story. This happens early into the main campaign.
Finding the map in Kena: Bridge of Spirits happens when Kena is searching for the first five Rots. After locating them all, players will meet two children for the first time. They typically run from Kena beforehand but as they notice the Rot are enjoying her presence, they also decide to come out. Using the Rot, players will need to destroy the corruption in the area. To do this, find the bright red bulb and send the Rot to it. Now use Kena's Pulse ability and it will cause the red bulb to explode and remove the corruption from the area.
A pop-up will appear showing that players are now able to use the map. At any point, players can press the touchpad to bring up the map. It will show Kena's exact location, which areas Kena has already explored, and main and side objective markers. This map is essential for players looking to 100% the game. Kena: Bridge of Spirits isn't the longest game, but knowing where to go and getting there without problems can cut this playtime down substantially. The map is truly Kena's best friend (besides the Rot, of course).
