90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Corey Rathgeber doesn't want his best friend, Raul, to attend his wedding because he unintentionally tried to sabotage his relationship with Evelin Villegas. Corey is on cloud nine because Evelin has finally forgiven him for cheating on her with his Peruvian fling, Jenny. Evelin is happy to tie the knot with Corey and excited to prepare for the wedding. She even wants her sister, Lesly, to officiate her wedding. Evelin will have her whole family by her side on her special day.
Sadly, Corey doesn't have many friends in Ecuador, especially because he doesn't know the local language yet. He only knows Evelin's family members and a couple of amigos at the beach. Thanks to his cheating scandal, Evelin sisters dislike him to the extent that they tricked him into eating soup with bull genitalia. Fortunately, Corey has one friend in Ecuador, Raul. Ironically, Raul is Evelin's close friend, who hooked up with her a few times in the past. Despite the awkward history, Corey and Raul became best friends over time. In fact, Corey stayed at Raul's place when Evelin kicked him out of her house.
It now seems like Corey and Raul aren't BFFs anymore. ET shared a clip from the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which reveals why Corey doesn't want Raul to attend his wedding with Evelin. Corey and Raul had a falling-out when they were living together a few months ago. The 90 Day Fiancé star revealed that he went out with Raul for dinner. Corey didn't know that his friend invited two women to join them. Raul posted pictures of their get-together on social media, even though Corey asked him not to do that. Corey, who was still recovering from his cheating scandal with Jenny, said, "Evelin sees this and obviously gets really mad."
Corey mentioned that Raul's female friends were already in committed relationships, and he just had dinner and didn't do anything else. But this dinner with two unknown ladies did become a bigger problem for him later on. Raul tried to explain to Corey that he didn't intend to harm his relationship. He said, "I post pictures of food, pictures of girls, but sometimes it doesn't mean anything. It's just what I'm doing daily." Raul added, "I know I've been an a** sometimes to you. I want to make it up to you." But Corey decided to strike Raul's name off the guest list.
Corey and Evelin, who already had a secret wedding, made the right decision by breaking up with Raul. His actions don't suggest that he actually wants his friends to be happy and married. Since he had feelings for Evelin at one point, he may be feeling jealous of her relationship with Corey. Perhaps, that's why he purposely shared pictures from the dinner night on social media by disregarding Corey's request. Fans hope Corey and Evelin will finally get married in the upcoming episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3.
