One DC Superhero Just 'Stole' A Power From Marvel's Universe

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Blue & Gold #3

In the latest issue of DC Comics' Blue and Gold, it's revealed that Booster Gold "stole" a power from the Marvel Universe. While this new issue sees Booster and Blue Beetle down on their luck and short on cash, they're still doing their best to have each other's backs while fighting the alien princess known as Omnizon (and teleporting her to a swamp). However, Booster arrived on the scene before Ted Kord's Blue Beetle, and he claims to have been alerted to the imminent danger using a power traditionally held by a certain Webslinger.

In Blue & Gold thus far, Booster and Beetle managed to rescue the Justice League, and Booster was hoping that it would get the duo seats on the team itself. However, despite the pair's success, the Justice League only offered membership to Blue Beetle, seeing as how they can't stand Booster and his more annoying tendencies - like live-streaming all of his heroic exploits. But Blue Beetle turned the League down in favor of sticking by his ally, leading to their new partnership where they've decided to become Heroes for Hire (another concept taken from the Marvel Universe).

Now, Blue & Gold #3 from writer Dan Jurgens and artist Cully Hamner sees Booster and his loyal droid Skeets attempting to move into their new offices, not realizing that Ted was just let go from his position with Kord Industries (which also meant that they've lost their funding). However, Booster and Skeets are soon interrupted by a large energy surge, and Booster said that the energy coming from Omnizon explained his "tingling Booster-Sense," a clear rip-off of Spider-Man's Spider-Sense.

While it's doubtful that the time-traveling/universe-hopping hero actually has a sixth sense that alerts him to danger like Spider-Man's,  the fact that Booster "saw it in another universe" suggests that he's somehow visited the Marvel Universe before (which is an entertaining thought). Would the Avengers be just as annoyed by his antics and typical lack of awareness as the League is? Furthermore, was Booster just visiting Marvel's 616-universe like a tourist going to another country, or did he have any team-ups with any notable heroes? While Booster's "Booster-Sense" is just a simple throwaway gag for this issue, the implications are a lot of fun to think about. If a Marvel vs DC event were to ever happen again, Booster could be a perfect hero to bridge the gap between the universes, seeing as how he's apparently been to the Marvel Universe before.

In any case, here's hoping Spider-Man doesn't find out that Booster Gold "stole" one of his powers, seeing as how this new series has established that he wouldn't be able to afford any sort of litigation in court. Booster Gold and Blue Beetle have bigger problems to worry about now that they're relying on crowdfunding to keep themselves afloat, hilariously asking their subscribers for donations.
