You: 10 Funniest Memes About Love | Screen Rant

Netflix's You captivated viewers from the very first season, but things became inarguably more interesting when Victoria Pedretti stepped into the shoes of the beautiful and impulsive serial killer, Love Quinn. For two seasons, audiences enjoyed her amazing character, and it finally felt like Joe had met his true match, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Despite her unfortunate ending at her husband's hands to Taylor Swift's widely played song "Exile", Love's fans are still petitioning for her to somehow come back onto the show, and also making hilarious memes to keep their favorite character's memory alive.

You season 3 saw Love and Joe settling into marital life in a quiet suburban neighborhood, but it wasn't long before she started wreaking havoc upon the idyllic Madre Linda. Love, overcome with jealousy and anger would kill or maim just about anyone, and always called Joe to clean up her messes.

While Joe's slipups were his own to clean up, Love had to call upon Joe considering she had a baby to nurse and look after, and no idea how to really cover up her tracks since her rich family used to do it for her earlier.

Candace's survival despite Joe's attack on her was one of the biggest twists on You, but the poor woman's intentions to save Joe's next victim went in vain, because Love was not a normal person who would get scared of Joe's darkness.

Instead, Love stabbed Candace when she tried to tell her about Joe's penchant for killing, because she had finally found a match for herself in Joe and could be her own, murderous self with him.

There have been plenty of memes about Joe and his double standard when it came to accepting Love's own killer tendencies, but Love's fans and casual watchers were pretty infuriated and also in amused disbelief about his horror at Love's past.

It was completely justified that Love had a bad reaction to Joe getting mad when she killed people, but she was following the same patterns that he did: killing anybody that the other one was interested in.

Objectively and subjectively, Love was a seriously well dressed character. Her LA wardrobe in You season 2 was breezy, bohemian, but beautiful, while her season 3 wardrobe reflected her new role as suburban mom and wife with sophisticated neutrals and flattering silhouettes.

Her last outfit on the show was a camel cardigan, easily one of her best sartorial choices, and Love's wardrobe was well-appreciated by everyone who watched the show.

Love and Joe's relationship was pretty ideal in season 2, but it also had some very cringey moments, like the one where Love tells Joe she "wolfs him". Most netizens collectively grimaced at that, so it was only obvious that the memes would begin.

If the humans "wolfed" each other, then isn't it fair that the wolves "humaned" one another too? The internet's imagination ran wild with this dialogue.

The internet has been full of red flag memes for a while now, but Love adored red flags — so much that she went ahead and married one. Despite knowing Joe's patterns of obsession and then killing, she chose a life with him and her baby.

It can only be her affection for Joe that led her to do that, especially since he was ready to kill her and only stopped when she mentioned her pregnancy. That was when she should've fled in the opposite direction, but Love was in love.

There were many fan theories about Love that were proved right in season 3, the first one being that Love had killed Ben. Her go-to weapon was poisoning by wolfsbane which paralyzes and stops the heart, and her murder weapon matched another feisty female character: Georgia from Ginny & Georgia.

Turns out, Love had been cultivating the flower for Joe as well because her instincts about him had been completely right, but it eventually led to her own death.

Despite being the weaker one in their exchange in the glass cage in LA, Love came out stronger than Joe in the whole of season 3, except for the end. Joe got a taste of his own medicine by meeting somebody as toxic as him, and he had to live in the fear that he had instilled in several other women's hearts.

It was quite satisfying seeing Joe bow down to someone and be at their mercy instead of the other way round, and Love's personality was too much for someone as small as Joe to handle.

In their psychopathy, their controlling tendencies, the murder, and violence, Love and Joe found love. While Beck was the main obsession in You season 1 and they had some really cute (and scary) moments, she wasn't quite the right fit for him.

When Love came by and showed her true colors, the proverbial shoe fit and both the killers had a satisfying relationship for a short while. She was his soulmate.

Love had no impulse control at all, and the reason why she survived till the time she was in LA was because of her influential parents who had a fixer who would take care of her crimes for her.

What she didn't realize was that this behavior wouldn't work in Madre Linda where her murderous actions had very real and very scary consequences. She was out of her depth, but that couldn't stop her from knocking people out periodically. Combined with her possessiveness for Joe, it was a lethal cocktail.
