Robin and Deathstroke face off in a Teen Titans GO! parody of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice titled Slade V Robin: Yawn of Justice. While it might seem odd for one DC team to deliberately poke fun at another DC movie - particularly a rather sensitive subject like Batman V Superman - gleeful irreverence is one of the trademark features of the popular Cartoon Network series, which recently made the leap to the big screen in Teen Titans GO! To The Movies.
The movie was packed with inside jokes, like a cartoon Stan Lee repeatedly popping up to try and get one of his "subtle cameos" into the movie, and Green Lantern saying "we don't talk about that" when asked if there had ever been a Green Lantern movie. Teen Titans GO! To The Movies was just released on Blu-ray and DVD, and it looks like DC is celebrating by having a little fun at its own expense.

In a post on the official DC Comics Twitter page - cheekily captioned "Happy Halloween!" - this parody poster shows Teen Titans GO!'s Robin in a grudge match with Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke. There's the now-standard superhero poster presence of random flying particles, a moody color scheme, and even a modified bat symbol with a "T" in the center.
Slade has a good reason to have a grudge against the Titans. In the movie, they interrupt him while he's trying to steal "the perfect plot device" and then - to add insult to injury - mistake him for Deadpool and refuse to listen to him when he insists that he's not Deadpool. Slade eventually become so infuriated at being mistaken for Deadpool that he unleashes a terrifying cry of, "I. AM. SLLLAAAAAADE!!"
Boy, that Deadpool is a real joker.
As the title suggests, Teen Titans GO! To The Movies is about the Teen Titans endeavoring to get a movie made about them so that they will finally be taken seriously by grown-up heroes. Their efforts to get the movie made include, among other things, going back in time to put a stop to more famous superheroes' origin stories. Perhaps Slade V Robin: Yawn of Justice is a movie from a timeline where Batman and Superman never came to be, so Hollywood had to use whomever was available.
