Netflix announced today new partnerships with animation studios Anima, Sublimation, and David Production, in addition to their earlier deals with Production I.G and bones in 2018. Together, these production houses and Netflix will jointly create original anime series including the previously announced Altered Carbon: Resleeved from Anima, based on Netflix’s original live-action science-fiction series that debuted in February 2018 and for which a second season is currently in production.
