Karamo Brown thinks his Dancing With the Stars co-star Hannah Brown should date The Bachelor Peter Weber. Hannah could win back-to-back reality shows if she stole Peter's heart away from the other women.
After being crowned the champion on Dancing With the Stars, Hannah has not retreated from the reality television spotlight just yet. She showed up in the premiere, not once, but twice. Peter looked flabbergasted when Hannah stepped out of the limo, but it was only to give him back his wings, a memento he had given Hannah on her season of The Bachelorette. Later in the episode she returned for a group date, awkwardly recounting the story of her and Peter's now-iconic sexual encounter in a windmill. It left the women feeling a little uncomfortable; none more than Hannah, who broke down shortly thereafter. Peter went to comfort her, and both realized they hadn't truly gotten over one another. There is much still up in the air, as the premiere episode left us with a "to be continued."
Many fans, including Karamo, star of Queer Eye, are hoping Peter and Hannah get back together. He told Us at the Golden Globes, “He better find love on The Bachelor. If he doesn’t, like, I mean no shade … He and Hannah Brown would be a very cute couple, but I’m not putting her down that road." Karamo got to know Hannah during their time on Dancing With the Stars, as the former Miss Alabama worked to put the heartbreak of the past year behind her. She had spoken then about being ready to move forward, but apparently she was not quite prepared to let go of everyone from her Bachelorette journey.
In addition to his wishes about Hannah and Peter rekindling their romance - Peter finished third on Hannah's season - Karamo spoke about his desire to see a black Bachelor. In 24 seasons of The Bachelor, there has never been a black man cast as the lead. Karamo told Us, "I hope we have a black Bachelor! If I wasn’t getting married in September, I would tell you, ‘Holler at me.'” The former Real World contestant also said it would be cool to have an Asian man cast as the lead. He said, "Like seriously, anybody other than another white guy. Even though I do like all the white guys they've had on there."
It's a problem that there has never been a black Bachelor. It's also a problem that Peter was likely cast as The Bachelor, in part, because producers knew they could bring Hannah into the picture to stir up drama and emotion. Though this whole situation has created a suspenseful cliffhanger, it's mean to both Peter and Hannah to throw them into this crazy adventure while knowing the two hadn't unresolved feelings from their past. If the second episode opens with Peter and Hannah leaving together and Mike Johnson taking Peter's place as The Bachelor, everyone can be happy.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
