Jurassic World 3: Chris Pratt Says Everyone is Coming Back

Jurassic World 3 will feature a returning cast of many of the franchise stars, according to its most prominent, Chris Pratt. The final chapter of the Jurassic World trilogy closes out the franchise's cinematic run, at least for the time being. Pratt has spoken in bombastic terms about the trilogy finale in the past, comparing it to Avengers: Endgame, a movie that closed out a saga, but not a cinematic universe.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended with dinosaurs roaming freely across the globe, both in cities and in the wild, suggesting the next film could take the story to a global scale. The broader scope opens the door to check in with fan-favorite characters from previous entries in the Jurassic Park saga, while also introducing a slew of new faces as well. Venom actor Scott Haze has been cast in the movie, for example, in a role that has yet to be disclosed.

Pratt continues to hype the film. At a press event, he told Variety the people behind Jurassic World 3 are "bringing everybody back." Pratt, who plays Owen Grady in the trilogy, suggested that he was hanging on to a secret in making his comment, but much of the casting news about the movie has already been reported. Unless more returnees haven't been confirmed, Pratt's secret is one that escaped months ago. Check out the actor's comments below:

The biggest casting news surrounding Jurassic World 3 is the return of the Jurassic Park characters fans fell in love with back in 1993. Dr. Alan Grant (played by Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) will appear in the current trilogy for the first time - except for Goldblum who popped up in a cameo in Fallen World. Additionally, Jake Johnson and Omar Sy reprise their roles from 2015's Jurassic World.

If Pratt is true to his word about "everybody" coming back, however, that allows room for more big returns, even if only for a small cameo. The late Richard Attenborough has been referenced in some way in each of the first two Jurassic World films, so that would be doable again. Maybe the children from Jurassic Park, Lex, and Tim Murphy (portrayed by Ariana Richards and Joseph Mazzello, respectively) will return. Or somehow Ray Arnold will appear, even though Samuel L. Jackson's character was killed by a velociraptor in the original Jurassic Park. If Jurassic World 3 truly wants to be the Endgame of the franchise, Wayne Knight's Dennis Nedry, whose fate was left unclear in the original trilogy, will emerge from the jungle to heroically save the world from dinosaurs.
