We saw almost nothing of Kelly and Kenny in the pods. They had a few conversations together, and then, all of a sudden, Kenny was walking into the pod with a suit and a ring. It was strange how small of an edit they received. The reason they weren’t shown as much is possibly because there wasn't much drama between the two since rendezvousing to Mexico and moving to Atlanta with the rest of the engaged couples. There was little to suggest they wouldn't end up together. Even their families loved one another when they all had the chance to get together. And, it should be noted, no other pairs of families met before the wedding day, something that would seem like a common event but perhaps not with this accelerated timeline. In the finale, they looked to be the biggest slam dunk to wed. In the end, Kelly wasn't ready to get married to Kenny.
Kelly hinted on the reunion episode that she regretted not giving Kenny another chance. Now, Kenny is in another relationship and it's too late. She prioritized looks over what's on the inside, in past relationships and also with Kenny. But it sounds like she's learned from those mistakes and is ready to move forward.
It would be good to have someone who was on the first season of Love Is Blind on another season, to see how they would adjust if given a shot to return for a second season. Would they be more careful in finding a potential match at the beginning? Or would they just as eagerly jump into the unknown, prepared to have it not work out again? Everyone at the reunion said they gained something from the experience, so perhaps they would be open to going through it again, at the risk of being criticized for choices they make along the way.
Since Kelly wasn't heavily featured in the first season, it would be a delight to see her come back for another season. Since the audience got so attached to all the characters from Love Is Blind, it would also be a strong marketing tactic to welcome some of the season 1 stars back again.
