On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna joked about the Lori Loughlin USC scandal to her daughter who is applying. The mother of two made a quip regarding the Hallmark actress’ public scandal, and her daughter wasn't amused.
Loughlin, who starred on Full House is awaiting her trial for her part in the college admissions scandal. She and her husband had been accused of paying $500,000 to Rick Singer to lie and say that both her daughters were recruits for the college’s crew team, but neither one had ever participated in the sport. Lisa Rinna was best known for her role as Billie Reed on NBC’s Day’s of Our Lives, on which she received national recognition, and Melrose Place before starring on the Real Housewives franchise. The TV personality is no stranger to the limelight as she happily poses for paparazzi photos and continues to post videos of herself dancing on Instagram, and the dancing queen is at it once again.
Last night on the all-new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills the 56-year-old reality star shocked fans by poking fun at Lori Loughlin and the USC scandal. Rinna’s daughter, Amelia, had recently come back from New York City after a rough patch with anxiety. The mother of two joked that she was not going to be taking any rowing photos to help her get in, telling Amelia Gray, “I’m not going to put you on a rowing machine and take a picture of you."
Amelia told her mom that her comment was "the wrong thing to say." She continued, "I'm trying to get into USC here. I'm like, let's not." Her mom, who was laughing, reminded her daughter that it was just a joke, saying, "I'm joking, I would never, ever do that."
A month ago, the federal prosecutor released the rowing photo that Loughlin gave to the recruiter. People obtained the photos back in April which showed the two girls, posing on ERG machines, pretending to row. Bravo viewers had a good laugh at Rinna’s lark, even though it's probably not funny for the people involved. It's obvious that she's not going to be making the same mistake that Loughlin did and wouldn't fall prey to the same mistake.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8pm EST on Bravo.
