Thanos' Younger Brother Starfox is Even MORE Dangerous

Thanos is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous villains in the Marvel universe - even without the Infinity Stones - and apparently danger runs in the family. Believe it or not, Thanos’s younger brother Eros is arguably even more dangerous than the Mad Titan himself.

Starfox - not to be confused with the furry space pilot from Nintendo - was first introduced in Iron Man #55 back in 1973. Much like Tony Stark, Starfox is something of a womanizer who lives a relatively carefree lifestyle. However, he’s been known to team up with heroes like the Avengers when his big brother starts causing trouble... which is pretty often. Despite fighting on opposite sides, and the fact that Thanos actually killed their mother, Starfox and Thanos meet under a truce once every thousand years to catch up and have some bro-time, mostly because their dad forces them to.

As a member of the race of Eternals, Starfox (whose real name is actually Eros) has powers such as super strength, super speed, durability, flight, and is basically immortal. He also lacks the Deviant gene that gave Thanos his purple skin, so Starfox has a stereotypically attractive appearance like the rest of the Eternals. However, the power that makes Starfox so dangerous is his ability to psychically control people’s emotions. This ability has gotten him into hot water before when he was accused of using his powers to seduce a married woman, leading to him being put on trial for sexual assault. Starfox is ultimately proven innocent, but not before receiving a serious beatdown from She-Hulk.

With the ability to control the emotions of others, Starfox can basically make anyone do anything, making him one of the most potentially dangerous characters in the Marvel universe. His power is just shy of straight up mind control. Thankfully, Eros usually chooses to fight for the good guys. He may be primarily self-interested and narcissistic, but Starfox at least has a stronger moral compass than his older brother, and knows when to stop carousing and step up to be a hero.

With the Eternals set to get their own MCU entry next year, and rumors that a young Thanos may appear, it's very possible Starfox will make his cinematic debut in the film. He also seems like the kind of character who would fit well in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie - he is Gamora’s uncle, after all.
