10 Fan-Art Photos Of John Wick Reimagined As A JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Character

John Wick 3: Parabellum was a huge success at the worldwide box office, after two equally good movies. However, some fans focused on one aspect in particular: the revelation of John Wick's real name. The assassin played by Keanu Reeves on the big screen responds to the name of Jardani Jovanovic, which is curious because it bears a lot of similarities with certain animated characters.

It was only a matter of time for fans of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to relate it to the anime. Due to his real name, John Wick could be part of the family as a true JoJo. Many have commented about the coincidence and there were also those who made their own fan-art of John as a JBA character. Here are ten of the best.

10 Manga Cover

By: Ted Ryan.

This great rendering of John Wick is so stylish that it could be the cover of any manga. Artist Ted Ryan posted this work on Reddit and is a perfect mash-up of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe with the assassin character. The only thing that's missing is a stand! The supernatural power characters that are known to be used in the anime.

Nonetheless, the artwork translates the character very well, making him look more menacing (if that is even possible) and would be a formidable opponent or ally in the world of JoJo.

9 Is His Stand A Dog?

By: Rethegoth88

Yes, it is, according to artist Rethegoth88 who posted in DeviantArt his version John Wick as a Jojo character. Funnily enough, this artist chose to put John in a bombastic pose typical of some of the characters in the anime like Jonathan Joestar or Joshuke Higashikata with the classic manga onomatopoeia "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ".

Is also notable the depiction of John's stand. A human-dog hybrid with big arms and abs of steel, similar to some of the most conventional stands in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

8 Jardani Jovonovic

By: @VacuousMermaid and @lotsodoodles

Twitter users @VacuousMermaid and @lotsodoodles collaborated in a stunning artwork depicting John Wick in a pose, with his pistol and a very menacing-looking stand behind him. What's interesting is that the stand is meant to look like a Baba Yaga house, which of course is the nickname of John.

Is very creative to choose this Slavic legend as the stand, since many other artists go for a dog-looking one. This art piece was also inspired by one of the originals tweets that pointed out John was a JoJo.

7 Colorful Wick

By: PutYourGrassesOn

This one is as simple as it gets. It was uploaded by user PutYourGrassesOn on the online gaming site drawception.com, where players have to draw their version of a description of a previous image. As the website promotes, "It's like the 'Telephone Game', but with drawing".

Despite its simplicity, this fast MS Paint-looking drawing brings some interesting concepts to the table when talking about putting john Wick in JoJo's universe. The added color to his collar and the lipstick are surprisingly nice touches that work with the assassin and would be awesome to see in the anime.

6 Bruno Bucciarati

By: Fiantco°AuVan

A mash-up of two characters. The lovely Bruno Bucciarati and John Wick into one. Artists Fiantco translated the design of the two characters into one with perfect balance. It's basically Bruno holding a gun, reminiscent of his gangster persona, and wearing a suit a la Wick style.

Obviously, the obligatory aspect here was the iconic zippers that are part of Bruno's ability in Golden Wind, who can access anywhere with Sticky Fingers, his stand based on the cover of that Rolling Stones album.

5 JoJo's Version Among Others

By: @dinotomic

Instagram artist diatomic has made a name for himself by recreating characters in different versions, like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Rick And Morty, and in this case, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. We just see the head but is enough to strike fear in the hearts of his enemies.

One thing to notice here is how a pattern starts to get established, since artist, when transfiguring John Wick into this new version, chooses to accentuate the angles of his face, making his lips bigger, and giving him that terrorizing look. Very exaggerate, but very JoJo.

4 Wick Has The Moves

By: @TheMetallingOne

One of the most hilarious depictions of Wick as a JoJo in this list, courtesy of twitter artist The Metalling One, who based his artwork on a frame in the first movie where Keanu Reeves holds a rifle while hiding behind a car. That battle position could be interpreted as a JoJo pose, something this artist realizes immediately.

This one is a product of the meltdown Twitter had when someone noticed the possibility of John being a JoJo, something that is still hilarious to this day and makes many fantasies about a Wick-like character in the manga.

3 With Iggy

By: vampireknife777

An encounter for the ages. Everybody knows the love John Wick has for dogs since he went into a murderous rampage for the assassination of his little beagle. It just makes sense that he would get along with Iggy, the charismatic dog who helps the protagonists in Stardust Crusaders.

But thinking this again, it probably won't be a good idea, considering the tragic fate Iggy endures. That new friendship for John would become a rage hard to control, and he would have more than a few words to say about that.

2 Badass Stand

By: Valktar

Tumblr user Valktar jumped on the bandwagon of reimagining versions of John Wick as a JoJo because of Twitter. His work resulted in one of the most badass versions of the character, depicting him walking away at dusk.

It also invents a dog-base stand for John, choosing this time to make it as a straight-up dog, which some may argue is more appropriate than a hybrid dog-person. This would be better if the dog were a beagle or a pitbull, though.

1 As Guido Mista

By: shwimmy-shwammy

If someone had to choose the most analogous character to John Wick in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe that certainly would be Guido Mista. Tumblr user shwimmy-shwammy picked on this and mashed-up the characters, basically putting Mista in the famous John Wick fighting pose.

Like John, Mista's primary weapon is a firearm and his stand, Sex Pistols, is divided into 6 sentient bullets that work together to attack Mista's opponents.
