As pretty much every Hogwarts student or Professor will say, History of Magic is undeniably the dullest class in the entire school. The Professor for the class was such a bore that he died without even realizing it, and then just kept on teaching the class as a ghost.
Boredom is the enemy of all Leos, so a class that is just an endless lecture will be the biggest chore for them to get through each day.
2 Excel In: Charms
Leos love to be entertained, and they can absorb and understand different concepts and ideas much faster than the average person.
So a class like Charms is guaranteed to keep them riveted, since it's all about mastering one spell and then moving on to the next. They'll appreciate the diversity that Charms offers, and being able to cast a quick spell is a skill that they know they'll use for the rest of their lives.
1 Fail: Potions
Above all else, Leos hate to wait. In the world of magic, they will undoubtedly stick to spells and enchantments that can work in an instant, and they will never see the use in something like Potions that takes an exceptional amount of time and is easy to screw up.
Leo always wants to get the biggest magical bang for their buck, and they will get far too frustrated by putting a ton of work into something only to realize that they made a mistake somewhere along the way and the whole potion is junk because of it.
