Head of Household Memphis Garrett nominated David Alexander and Nicole Anthony for eviction on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. As last week's HOH, Cody Calafiore trusted Memphis with a lot of information. Cody initially targeted Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha, but after they were guaranteed safety through the Safety Suite competition, he changed his target to Keesha Smith and Kevin Campbell. Enzo Palumbo won the Power of Veto competition, but ultimately decided not to use it. Keesha did hope that her BB10 ally-turned-enemy Memphis would have her back this time around, but he didn't campaign for Keesha and cast his own vote to evict her.
Following Keesha's eviction, Memphis won the HOH and promptly isolated himself from the rest of the house. Certain players remarked that Memphis was trying to scare the whole house into thinking they were at risk of being nominated. That way, more people would burn their Safety Suite cards and clear the way for Memphis to win that competition on Week 3. Not everyone called his bluff, but some houseguests did. Upon winning the comp, Christmas Abbott surprisingly chose Ian Terry as her plus one, meaning they were both safe from eviction this week.
As the second HOH of Big Brother: All-Stars, Memphis Garrett put up David Alexander and Nicole Anthony on the nomination block. Some speculated that Memphis would target Ian for eviction, but Ian was no longer an option after Christmas picked him as her Safety Suite plus one. Just like his ally Cody the week before, Memphis nominated two players who were flying under the radar. Prior to the nomination ceremony, it seemed Nicole A. had the numbers to keep herself safe. However, the houseguests found Memphis' speech to David to be very harsh. Now, there is a high chance that enough people will refuse to vote David out this week to keep him in the game. Additionally, Janelle and Kaysar have caught wind that Nicole A. is badmouthing them. In reaction, Janelle has been criticizing her to a few people. At the moment, everything indicates that Nicole A. will be evicted this week.
The fans can still look forward to the Power of Veto competition that will air on Wednesday night's episode. Depending on who wins, that person might decide to take David or Nicole A. off the block. On the other hand, Enzo didn't use his POV last week, and it might still be too early in the season for someone to go against the HOH. In the end, making that move could put a target on the POV holder's back.
After a pretty uneventful first week, the Big Brother 22: All-Stars game is starting to heat up. As HOH, Memphis made some questionable decisions, which means even his allies are now starting to question if he is reliable. Nonetheless, most houseguests can still enter the final Safety Suite competition next week, so this is still anyone's game.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8 pm EST on CBS.
