Hulk’s Always Angry Scene In Stunning Hand Drawn Flipbook Animation

One talented Marvel fan has crafted an alternate take on Hulk's "I'm always angry" scene from The Avengers using hand drawn flipbook animation. Bruce Banner/Hulk has become an important part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Mark Ruffalo's version of the character was introduced in that film. As one of the original six Avengers, Hulk has played a big role in several MCU movies, including Avengers: Endgame. There, he debuted the Professor Hulk version of his character, providing comedic relief, but also wielding the Infinity Gauntlet to bring back those snapped in Avengers: Infinity War.

At the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame, Hulk's future is something of a question mark, as is Ruffalo's in the MCU. He isn't confirmed for any future movies as of now. However, many are hoping he'll show up in Disney+'s She-Hulk series. That show is centered on Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters, who receives Bruce's blood via a transfusion. As a result, she has a version of Hulk's powers. That origin story would suggest an appearance by Ruffalo is necessary. Luckily, the actor confirmed in April there's talk of that happening, though no deal has been made.

Despite the many great Hulk moments in the MCU, one, Hulk's "I'm always angry" scene from The Avengers, has stood the test of time. It happens at a crucial moment during the film's climatic battle, when Banner is able to transform into Hulk and help the Avengers defeat the Chitauri. Now, user IamHassee1 on Reddit has created an impressive re-imagining of the scene using flipbook animation, as well as Ruffalo's original dialogue. Check it out below:

This work is astounding for a number of reasons, especially the time put into the project, as revealed at the end of the video. The end result is a completely unique take on an iconic Avengers scene. It also highlights the general creativity of Marvel fans, who always find distinct ways to honor their favorite characters and moments. This scene is arguably one of Hulk's biggest in the MCU, so it was a smart pick by the artist.

Hopefully, Hulk's future in the film series will become clear soon. Given that Ruffalo has only played Professor Hulk in one film, it's only logical viewers may want more time with him. Though She-Hulk appearance would be great, it would also be nice to see Ruffalo in the movies again, even if it does take awhile. For now, this Avengers scene recreation is a good way to remember one of Hulk's most important MCU moments.
