It’s been 27 years since the movie’s release and it’s still talked about with the highest regard from Halloween fanatics. It’s one of those films that doesn’t seem to age and gets better with time. Another thing that grows with time (thanks to the Internet) are memes. With the Sanderson sisters at the forefront of the film, Hocus Pocus is the perfect movie to make memes from. Scroll below to find 10 memes that bring all the feels this Halloween.

10 Let's Form A Calming Circle

We're going to pull one of Mary Sanderson's lines from the movie and tell fall naysayers to form a calming circle for their negativity because when it comes to the fall season, there's too much to be excited about. From spooky movies to Halloween night to fall-themed meals, it's an exciting change of scenery after a humid summer.

By the time August rolls around, everyone's too excited for September and October to roll around that they can't fully accept the month of August.

9 It's Fall, Y'all

Is there anything more exciting than making warm and soothing fall meals that would normally be too heavy for summer? As soon as the cool weather hits, those crockpots come out and chilis start cooking. Fall lovers are scouring Pinterest for the latest fall menu and using their crockpot to slow-cook throughout the day. One could say that a crockpot is a modern-day cauldron!

We may not have Winifred Sanderson's strength when it comes to moving people across a room or creating potions from a spellbook but we do have crockpots and wooden spoons!

8 This Has Never Been More True

This meme went viral as soon as it was created because it couldn't be more true. When '90s kids saw Hocus Pocus when they were young, Sarah Sanderson was the beloved witch. She was beautiful, a little loopy, and always had her eyes on a potential crash. As we grew up, we realized Winifred was actually our favorite witch. She was the leader of the pack and the smartest by far. It's not until us '90s kids reached our 30's that Sarah and Winifred were out and Mary was now the best witch. She loves food, is fascinated by TV, and screams when she's happy. What's not to love?! Now that Disney has a Hocus Pocus sequel in the works, fans can't wait to see which witch they're more intuned with now.

7 Hocus Pocus Is Perfect For All Ages

It doesn't matter how old Hocus Pocus is it's one of those movies that gets better with time. Fans notice things they didn't notice in prior years and the Sanderson sisters become more and more relatable (even for witches).

And with Hocus Pocus now being on Disney+, fans can watch Hocus Pocus whenever they want. After the sequel comes out, we'll be able to watch both movies every Halloween season until the end of time!

6 It's Never Too Early To Start Getting Pumped For Halloween

Some consider September fall while others wait until October hits to start getting excited for fall. Whatever a person believes in, this meme couldn't be more relatable. As soon as the beginning of September and October hits, it's game time. It's time to carve pumpkins, stack hay bales, watch spooky movies, and getting ready for Halloween night. And with the fanbase that Hocus Pocus has, there is no shortage in Hocus Pocus gifts and memorabilia to get in the fall mood. Who wouldn't be excited for the brisk air and apple orchards after seeing the Sanderson sisters brooms carefully decorated around the house?!

5 "Dead Man's Toe!"

Similar to Mary, Sarah is the other Sanderson sister that isn't the brightest bulb in the shed. In fact, she may be worse off than Mary. At least Mary calms Winifred down after she panics about losing her spellbook. She also formed a calming circle before hopping on the bus. In fact, without Mary, the women might have had issues finding children to live off of since they didn't realize Halloween night meant children dressed in costumes. Sarah, on the other hand, could only put children in a trance and remember to throw a dead man's toe in the potion they needed. Sarah is strong in her own way but she's also wildly idiotic.

4 When You're Ready For Fall But Nature Didn't Get The Memo

With a Hocus Pocus sequel on the rise, fans can only hope that it comes out around the Halloween season so that they can spend a night watching it again and again. There's nothing better than a spooky movie as the leaves change.

As soon as August's heat takes over, people are ready for the briskness of fall. Cooler mornings means we don't need to sweat as soon as we step outside. Fall weather also means fall activities like apple picking and pumpkin carving! However, just because we're ready for the fall weather that doesn't mean nature is. The leaves may be changing but it's not exceptionally chilly. Funny enough, we're all ready for the cold weather until February hits, then we're ready for those 90 degree days again!

3 Just. Like. This.

It was pretty eerie when the Sanderson sisters turned Thackery Binx into a cat that has to live for eternity. The poor guy had to watch his family die around him as he stuck it out for 300 years. He's seen more changes than just about anyone ever. And although Thackery was eventually transformed into his ghost form by the end of the movie, fans are hoping he makes an appearance in the sequel. The spell that the Sanderson sisters used was strong enough to turn a young man into a cat, which made people wish they had the ability to clean their homes. Unless, of course, they simply don't care, which sounds very much like Winifred.

2 *Sips Tea*

Is there anything more relatable for gossip lovers than seeing Winifred stirring the cauldron and associating it with themselves stirring the pot? It's incredibly likable, especially the older we get. Fans can only hope that the Sanderson sisters come back to screens to haunt Salem. And even though Thackery Binx has crossed over into the light, the Sanderson sisters are strong enough to potentially bring Binx back to Salem for one last battle if they desired. Meanwhile, viewers will be stirring the pot as they see it go down.

1 A Spelling Error To Haunt All Spelling Errors

Boneless. Skinless. Children's. Thighs. Is there anything more morbid than that sentence? Seeing this error immediately sent the original poster into a frenzy and thought of the Sanderson sisters' desire for children. Although the bus driver thought the sisters desired children so that they could become mothers, they really needed children so that they could be young and live forever. Mary sniffs out the children, Sarah's voice puts them in a trance, and Winifred creates the potion to take the life force from them. It's a group effort that only worked for so long. Thanks to Thackery Binx, he led the Dennisons and Allison to defeating the Sanderson sisters after 300 years of living in fear.
