Darcey & Stacey: House of Eleven Is the Silva Twins' Trendy Clothing Brand

Darcey and Stacey Silva are expanding their talents beyond the 90 Day Fiancé franchise in the new TLC spin-off, Darcey & StaceyThe show focuses solely on the twins' personal lives and relationships. Understandably, it's filled with drama, but it also reveals more about the women behind the tearful 90 Day Fiancé personalities.

Darcey & Stacey zeroes in on the Silva twins' personal lives. Although Darcey is no stranger to reality TV, this spin-off allows Stacey to take center stage alongside her sister, rather than appearing on-screen as a periphery character. Darcey starred on all four seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days and quickly established herself as somewhat of a mess when it comes to relationships. She first tried to make things work with Amsterdam-based boyfriend Jesse Meester, but their partnership went up in flames. Next, Darcey pursued Englishman Tom Brooks, but that relationship also ended in disaster. Through her many breakups, Darcey often turned to her sister Stacey, who provided support and a shoulder to cry on. The new series, however, heavily focuses on Stacey's relationship with Albanian fiancé Florian Sukaj. Beyond giving Stacey more of a chance to shine, the series also digs deeper into Darcey and Stacey's lives, including their clothing brand, House of Eleven.

House of Eleven already existed before Darcey joined season one of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. When asked about capitalizing on her TLC fame by Yahoo! Sports, Darcey said, "Why not, you know? But it's something we've always done anyway. Had it way before the show." However, Darcey admitted that talking about the brand on the series helped to increase exposure, which isn't a surprise considering the broad audience TLC has for their 90 Day Fiancé shows. However, House of Eleven was already doing well before the boost from the TLC series. "We were in stores and stuff, we started as a high-end tier brand," Darcey explained. "Kind of known for our leggings and our joggers. Lot of celebrities wore it, we did a lot of editorials when we were in LA." Darcey went on to explain that the brand is moving back to its initial home in Los Angeles, where Darcey and Stacey are working out a rebrand. Some celebrities who wore the clothing include Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, and Jessica Alba (via Monsters & Critics). The brand's Instagram heavily features Darcey and Stacey as the primary models showing off the clothes:

Even more impressive than the brand itself, however, is the touching story behind its inception. Darcey explained, "We created House of Eleven in honor of our brother that passed away in 1998 from Ewing's sarcoma, so we're here to kind of, you know, live for our passions as well." Darcey continued to say that she and Stacey wanted to create a legacy for themselves in their brother's honor, thereby making it his legacy as well. Their brother passed at just 27 from a rare form of cancer, so Darcey and Stacey try to keep him with them through their clothing brand. Darcey then revealed the story behind the business' name, saying, "'Cause he was born May 11 and he passed on July 11, so everything we do is House of Eleven in his name. He's the last Silva, so when we got divorced we took our last name back, Silva."

Darcey and Stacey often wear their House of Eleven clothing on the show and talk about the brand openly. It's obvious they have a passion for this business and will continue to grow their brand whether their TLC fame continues or not. With such a sweet story behind the brand, it finally makes sense why House of Eleven means so much to them.
