Former The Real Housewives of New York cast member Heather Thomson gave fans some interesting information on her former costar Sonja Morgan. Heather appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and had some choice words about some of the current and former RHONY ladies. Thomson is no longer on the show, but she is still stirring the pot.
Heather was featured on RHONY seasons five through seven and appeared on a few episodes here and there after her time on the show. She made an appearance early this season at the Berkshires for an episode as a friend of Dorinda Medley's. While Heather has been off the show for quite some time, she has been making some noise lately, especially now that she is coming out with a new podcast.
During the live episode of Watch What Happens Live Heather was asked a series of rapid-fire questions about the current and former cast members of RHONY. During the Q&A, she revealed Sonja Morgan was the worst tipper. “Sonja is the worst tipper and Ramona is not so great either, but Sonja’s the worst,” Heather claimed. “She’ll even get up and leave without paying for the meal.” This wasn't the only piece of juicy gossip Heather had to share. The former cast member revealed who was and wasn't a fun drunk. “Sonja and [Dorinda Medley] are the least fun to be around when they’re drunk and Luann is the most fun to be around when she’s drunk," Heather revealed. Cohen then grilled Heather about who she believes phoned the popular news site, Page Six, the most. To this, she replied, “I think it might have been Carole back in the day a little bit… [or] maybe [Bethenny Frankel]."
Heather continued with her revelations when asked about former cast member Jill Zarin's comment about viewers getting “the short end of the stick” when Heather was added to the show. “We don’t replace housewives, we introduce new housewives” Heather said on the WWHL: After Show. “I didn’t replace Jill Zarin. So whether she likes me or not...that’s her opinion. But I was not put on the show to replace you, Jill..." Jill revealed on the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast in July that she felt fans of RHONY lost the family dynamic when they added new housewives Carole Radziwill, Aviva Drescher, and, of course, Heather. Clearly this ticked Heather off, and later in the show she shaded Jill by saying she is the former cast member who wants to be back on the show the most.
While some of Heather's comments did come off a bit rude, they were certainly entertaining. Since she is coming out with a podcast, maybe she can have some of her former castmates on and they could hash it out face-to-face. Now that would be something the fans would listen to.
