Fans have watched the Alaskan Bush People family grow and add new members now fans would like to know everything they can about Bam's girlfriend, Allison. The couple has been working hard to maintain their long-distance relationship for years and it looks like it has paid off.
Joshua "Bam Bam" Brown is the second-oldest brother and most would say the leader of the siblings. The Brown family first became popular after they appeared on the Discovery Channel while they lived in the Alaskan Bush. The entire Brown family has been living in the wilderness their entire lives. Both their parents, Billy and Ami wanted to carry out a lifestyle that was off the grid and away from the continental United States. The family now resides on top of a mountain in Washington state due to Ami falling ill with lung cancer.
Fans will recall that Bam originally left the trendy reality series for his first romance with a field producer member back in 2017. Since then he has returned to the show to film as of 2019 and his long-term relationship with Allison Kagan is still going strong. Fans remember him telling the cameras that he fell in love with a “city girl” and since then his heart and soul had been moved. But who is Allison and what do we know about her? Luckily, Soap Dirt has helped narrow it down.
Even though Allison has directed more than a dozen of the series’ episodes she is best known for falling in love with a man of the wild. She got her start on the show as a producer but was able to move her way up. There were multiple reports that the Brown family had not welcomed Allison with open arms as they did with the other wives who seemed more fame-hungry. This treatment did not sit well with Bam and caused a major rift. It led to rumors that the couple at one point had broken up. Allison was born in 1973 and raised in New York state. There is a bit of an age gap since Bam is 34 and Allison is 46 years old. She graduated from the University of New York at Albany with a Communications and Film degree and like most got her start on local news stations. She has also worked on networks such as Bravo, MTV, and Lifetime, most famously being Teen Mom 2- and 90-Day Fiancé. As far as her career goes, Allison has started a company called A Kagan Creative where she is executive producer and VP of Development. As for the couple, they have bought a boat together called The Osprey but decided to renovate it, renaming it Fathom This.
Bam couldn’t have picked a better girl. Allison loves music and travel and will bring a sense of culture to their relationship. Allison also has become a certified permaculture designer in 2018 which is the study of an enclosed garden that will provide sustenance without maintenance. Alaskan Bush People fans are hoping to one day see her on the show.
