The promo clip for the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians revealed Khloé Kardashians COVID diagnosis from earlier this year. The family appeared shocked and worried by the unfortunate news that took place during the height of the ongoing health pandemic. Now, that the show is sharing Khloe's experience with the virus, the reality star is opening up about the most painful part of dealing with it.
The latest teaser for KUWTK showed the family rocked by the news that Khloe might have the virus. The episode trailer opens with a worried Kim Kardashian reeling over Khloé’s sudden illness and severe symptoms that are appearing right in the middle of an international health pandemic. Matriarch Kris Jenner rushed to get Khloe in contact with a number of doctors. “I of course immediately jumped on the phone with every doctor who would take my call," Khloe explained before revealing her diagnosis shortly after. “I just found out that I do have corona.”
Now that the episode is set to air, the Good American founder is opening up about her time battling the airborne virus. "At the very beginning, I tested positive and it was so incredibly scary," she explained on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Daily Mail reports. "I mean, it's still scary, but especially then, when the whole world was shutting down, and we didn't have really any information or the information we had just changed every single day." The talk show host asked the reality star if she felt "really sick" during her positive status or was she asymptomatic, to which Khloe informed her that she "felt really quickly on" that she "was getting sick with something."
The E! star learned of her diagnosis while in Palm Springs for her best friend Malika Haqq's babymoon party. After learning her results and feeling ill, Khloe was forced to quarantine in her room for about 16 days until she was cleared. "We had to wait until I had negative test results to leave," she said before sharing how her self isolation was the "hardest part." She continued recalling how painful it was for her to be away from her 2-year-old daughter True Thompson for so long. "I don't care about how beautiful of a place you have, being taken away from your child – because I couldn't be around my daughter – was the most heart-wrenching thing."
On the show, Khloe shared have symptoms of migraines, chest pain, vomiting, and coughing. While speaking on the virus in the episode Khloe shared "that s**t is real."
