5 Easiest Achievements In Call Of Duty History (& 5 That Were Almost Impossible)

First launched by Activision in 2003, Call of Duty was originally created to compete with EA’s Medal of Honor but has gone on to surpass its rival in every way imaginable. Call of Duty is one of the most successful video game franchises of all time, having sold around 300 million games since 2003, putting it in third place overall behind gaming giants Pokémon and Super Mario, so it's had to work hard to keep fans invested and rewarded.

Within each of the 24 Call of Duty games, players have to complete a series of missions, and within each mission, there are several achievements that players need to complete to progress. Some of these are very simple to beat, while others, incredibly hard.

10 Easiest - Pit Stop (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare)

The achievements in Call of Duty can vary widely from the relatively easy to those that are almost impossible to complete. One of the easiest achievements in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is Pit Stop, which requires the player to take out three of four armored personnel carriers that appear on the road.

One only needs to shoot out three of the four tires on each vehicle to bring them to a stop, and the achievement gets even easier as the APCs get closer to your position.

9 Hardest: Two Birds (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also has some pretty tough achievements, however, including the rather gruesome Two Birds. The name is a reference to the saying about “killing two birds with one stone” only, in this case, the player has to kill two enemies with one bullet.

To make things even harder, and in a damning indictment of modern warfare, the shooter, in this case, is a child which means that the player needs to take into consideration the fact that their avatar is no longer an experienced soldier.

8 Easiest - Boot Camp (Call of Duty: Warzone)

There are Boot Camp achievements in many of the Call of Duty games, but the Boot Camp badge in Warzone is one of the easiest to obtain.

Players have a shopping list of minor tasks they have to complete, such as piloting a vehicle for five minutes, collecting 15 piles of cash from the ground, and surviving one second in the Battle Royale gas field. Tick them all, and you will be rewarded not only with the Boot Camp achievement but also an impressive Berliner assault rifle.

7 Hardest: Power Changes Everything (Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare)

Players in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare can build themselves an exo-suit that can shield them from fire, allow them to hover over the ground, and even become temporarily invisible.

Such a powerful tool has to be earned, however, and the Power Changes Everything achievement, which finishes the exo-suit, requires the player to complete a long list of tasks including 1600 kills, 320 kills with grenades and 100 kills with headshots, as well as for the player to have found all 45 pieces of intel hidden throughout the game.

6 Easiest - Spatial Awareness (Call of Duty: Ghosts)

Anyone who has played any Call of Duty game will know that aim is essentially to rack up the biggest body count possible, which makes the Spatial Awareness achievement in Call of Duty: Ghosts game one of the easiest ever.

To pick up this particular trophy, the player simply needs to make their first kill – and the game can even be set on the easiest difficulty setting when they do it. It’s a gimme trophy, but at least it gives beginners a sense of achievement on their first play-through.

5 Hardest: Throw a Six and a Half (Call of Duty: World at War)

Given that it is physically impossible to Throw a Six and a Half with a real dice, the name of this achievement does give you some idea of just how difficult it is to complete.

To get this trophy, players have to complete any single-player mission from Call of Duty: World at War on Hardened or Veteran level without dying once. The best chance you have of picking up this achievement is to play the Blackcats mission, though finishing in one go without losing any lives is still a challenge.

4 Easiest - Got Something on Your Face (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare)

Got Something on Your Face may be one of the easiest achievements in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but it is one of the most unhygienic CoD trophies you can win.

To unlock this achievement, players simply need to spit in the face of Barkov, the evil interrogator in the Captive mission. It is super-easy to do, though it might not be the first option that comes to mind for players whose characters are tied to a chair and facing an imminent torture session!

3 Hardest: Leave No Stone Unturned (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2)

Call of Duty players are used to keeping their eyes peeled for enemy intel items, as these are often required to complete missions or acquire important pieces of kit.

The 45 pieces of enemy intel that are dotted throughout the missions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 make up an achievement of their own, called Leave No Stone Unturned, in which the player has to find all 45 enemy intel items – and some of them are well hidden, especially when there are actual enemies to deal as one searches.

2 Easiest - Buck Private (Call of Duty: WW2)

One of the best things about Call of Duty is that players can choose to play alone or with friends in multiplayer campaigns. Some of these achievements are only available in solo games, but Buck Private from Call of Duty: WW2 is one trophy that is only available in the multiplayer setting.

To unlock the trophy, a player simply needs to make ten kills. The term is a military one and is used to stress just how lowly the rank of private is, so it is hardly surprising that Buck Private is a straightforward achievement.

1 Hardest: No One Will Believe You (Call of Duty: Black Ops 3)

Some video game achievements are so legendarily difficult, that it can be difficult to convince other gamers that you have completed them. No One Will Believe You, from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, is one such almost-impossible achievement.

This demanding and arduous hidden trophy requires players to finish the whole game on the Realistic setting, which was introduced for the first time in Black Ops 3 and is the hardest ever Call of Duty level. It only takes one bullet or explosion to kill a player, as would happen in real life.
