However, while he is trying to promote the song, he quickly falls back into his old-school ways, coming out with ridiculous comments that wouldn't work in a PG world.

When he's appearing on a morning show, which is aimed at children, Bill ends up going on a rant about drugs, and how people should become rockstars purely so they can get them for free. It's a hilarious line, which leads to the hosts, Ant & Dec, panicking and desperately trying to silence him.

The storyline between Karen and Harry is one of the most heartbreaking in the movie. She is expecting a normal Christmas with her family when he ends up flirting with someone at work, buying her expensive Christmas gifts and while he's never shown physically cheating, it's pretty clear what is happening.

When Karen works out what has happened in the most emotional fashion by opening what she expects to be jewelry, it's incredibly sad. But her quote from earlier in the movie about true love really does ring true. Despite the situation, at the end of the movie they're shown still together, clearly more than a little broken, but working on things.
