The relationship between Daniel and Sam is one of the nicest parts of Love Actually. The father and son duo is warm and caring, and despite the fact that they're dealing with a loss, they manage to bond over music and being old-fashioned romantics.
Sam is trying to win over a girl in his class, and he plans to do it by playing drums at the Christmas concert she is singing at. When they arrive, there are nerves between them, but Sam pulls it together and delivers this hilarious line, which is particularly funny because of how young he is.

When the movie first begins, Hugh Grant provides a voiceover, which sets the scene for the entire movie. He talks about seeing love, everywhere, no matter where you look. He gives plenty of examples as footage of people showcasing various kinds of love, and it just starts the movie off in just the right tone.
It's a heartfelt line and certainly true when one actually stops to think about it. Love is all around, and while it's obviously being used to open up the movie in a romanticized manner, it's also a really heartfelt and honest look at things.

Christmas nativities at grade school are known for having to fit a lot of children into them, trying to ensure everyone has a role. This is clear when Karen's daughter comes home to reveal her role in the show as the second lobster.
Karen provides a hilarious response, simply questioning that there was more than one lobster present, clearly understanding how ridiculous the situation was as she then had to make a lobster suit. It's a great moment that really does deliver.
7 Heartfelt: "Life Is Full Of Interruptions And Complications."
This is an incredible quote because it's realistic and something that everyone can understand. The storyline between Karl and Sarah is one that is quite an emotional one that has a lot of highs and lows and a big reason for that is because Sarah spends a lot of her time looking after her brother.
Karl is fairly understanding of the situation though, which leads to him coming out with this quote, which is just an incredibly accurate and honest one. It's something that everybody can relate to, which makes it even better.
6 Funniest: "I Did Have An Awful Premonition That I Was Gonna F**k Up On The First Day. Oh, Pi** It!"
Natalie is one of the best characters in Love Actually, and the main reason is just because of how normal and relatable she is. Despite the fact that she works for the Prime Minister, Natalie is just a regular person, and during his first day on the job, this is very clear.
When the Prime Minister is introduced to the staff, they're all very polite and well-mannered, whereas Natalie ends up coming out with this sentence after having a normal greeting. She showcases her true colors and while she's embarrassed, which creates a hilarious moment, this actually makes her memorable to him.

When it comes to moments from Love Actually, the scene where Mark turns up to Juliet and Peter's house with the notecards is an iconic scene from the movie and certainly a very romantic and heartfelt moment.
This quote is one that is impossible not to smile about, even if it doesn't create the moment that he would want in an ideal situation, due to Juliet being married.

Hugh Grant plays the Prime Minister in Love Actually, David. However, he doesn't act in the way one might think a Prime Minister would act on a day-to-day basis, which allows him to come out with great lines like this that a normal person in power wouldn't get away with.
When he first gets introduced to his staff, this is the hilarious quote that comes out to Terence. It's a great moment that shows the awkward brilliance of the character, which is something that Hugh Grant pulls off well.
3 Heartfelt: "It's The Saddest Part Of My Day, Leaving You."
When Aurelia says this line, she actually does it in Portuguese, and it is a brilliantly heartfelt scene. She and Colin Firth's character, Jamie, have a lovely friendship, which is sincere, as it then turns into a relationship.
Despite the fact their conversations are broken due to the language barrier, when Jamie drives her home each day after work, they begin to bond. When he tells her that driving her and talking with her is his favorite time of the day, she gives this heartfelt response.
2 Funniest: "Hiya Kids. Here Is An Important Message From Your Uncle Bill. Don't Buy Drugs. Become A Pop Star And They Give You Them For Free."
Bill is one of the funniest characters in Love Actually, an old-school rock and roll artist trying to make a comeback with a Christmas song. However, while he is trying to promote the song, he quickly falls back into his old-school ways, coming out with ridiculous comments that wouldn't work in a PG world.
When he's appearing on a morning show, which is aimed at children, Bill ends up going on a rant about drugs, and how people should become rockstars purely so they can get them for free. It's a hilarious line, which leads to the hosts, Ant & Dec, panicking and desperately trying to silence him.
1 Heartfelt: "True Love Lasts A Lifetime."
The storyline between Karen and Harry is one of the most heartbreaking in the movie. She is expecting a normal Christmas with her family when he ends up flirting with someone at work, buying her expensive Christmas gifts and while he's never shown physically cheating, it's pretty clear what is happening.
When Karen works out what has happened in the most emotional fashion by opening what she expects to be jewelry, it's incredibly sad. But her quote from earlier in the movie about true love really does ring true. Despite the situation, at the end of the movie they're shown still together, clearly more than a little broken, but working on things.
