BOTW Dragon Parts Can Be Turned Into a Spectacular Fireworks Show

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it's been discovered that players can create fireworks using dragon scales, a bomb, and Revali's Gale. Even though this game was released nearly four years ago on both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, Breath of the Wild players are still discovering new ways to interact with the influential open-world title. One player found out that Link can earn double the amount of Spirit Orbs by pulling off a glitch that manipulates the game's memory. Another player discovered an unused shrine and restored it with some modding.

While fans eagerly wait for more details about the game's highly anticipated sequel, some purported leakers have taken to the Internet to share contested information. News surrounding the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been scarce, as Nintendo first showed it off at E3 2019 and hasn't done so since. However, some leakers have claimed to have insider information, such as what the title of the sequel will be. As expected, all of these leaked names should be taken with a grain of salt.

In the meantime, Reddit user hiopklin discovered how to create fireworks in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They shared a 30-second clip on Reddit of them mixing various dragon scales with a bomb. Link then uses Revali's Gale to lift himself and the dragon-bomb concoction into the air. When the timing is right, Link detonates the bomb, and the dragon scales explode everywhere. All of this results in some beautiful fireworks. Take a look at hiopklin's video for yourself below.

It's truly remarkable that players are still discovering new things about a video game that released in 2017. What's also impressive is how evenly all of the fireworks spread, as it makes for an eye-pleasing spectacle. It's likely that this is much more difficult to pull off than it seems, as the timing must be absolutely perfect in order for the fireworks to go blasting in such an aesthetically pleasing way. It's also likely that these fireworks were unintentional on Nintendo's part, making it all the more amazing that hiopklin was able to pull this off.

If one wants to pull this trick off in their own game, then it would be wise to save just before lighting the dragon scales off. These dragon parts aren't exactly common in the Kingdom of Hyrule, and players who are rather early in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may want to save these for something more practical. However, these dragon-fireworks still appear to be a great deal of fun.
