Viewers of TLC's My Big Fat Fabulous Life are currently questioning if Buddy Bell and Brittany Sherman are still together after their quick match-up on the show. Although Buddy seems head-over-heels for his new lady onscreen, it doesn't look like their relationship lasted very long.
TLC fans are celebrating Buddy as the unsung hero of season eight, who knew all along Chase Severino was a bad idea. Many TLC viewers were worried Whitney Way Thore's relationship came between her friendship with Buddy. Since the show's inception, the two have been inseparable and Buddy has been Whitney's rock. Whitney has also been the friend he could turn to in times of need. Fans always thought the two belonged together, but a romantic connection has never blossomed between the besties.
Over the course of season eight, fans will see Buddy and Brittany's short fling come to an end. Now, according to his Instagram, Buddy has found a new love interest. His new girlfriend's name is Courtney Renee Marsh, and it looks like she is already doing better than Brittany since Whitney actually likes her. Fans of My Big Fat Fabulous Life watched last week as Whitney was taken by surprise when Buddy revealed he had been secretly dating while staying in her Charlotte home during the pandemic. Fans were shocked to learn he found himself a relationship after only one week. But even though his relationship with Britanny hit the newsstands in June, it was short-lived, as Courtney walked into his life this November. If you take a look at Buddy's social media, Courtney's first appearance is in a November 10 post where he shared a few pictures of them as a couple. Even Whitney left a comment saying Courtney was "hot and nice."
There has been no mention of how it all ended with Brittany, but Buddy has done just fine bouncing back. The recovering addict spent his holidays with Courtney and the two showed off their Christmas tree online. On Christmas Eve, the TLC star shared a photo with Courtney saying Santa had been good to him. While the concept of finding a girlfriend during quarantine still baffles most viewers, it seems Buddy is happy and well adjusted. Hopefully, the new year can bring more positive relationships for the rest of the group, including Whitney.
