Fans watched on Sunday as Cynthia painstakingly tried to plan her wedding, and soon realized that almost everyone she had invited had RSVP'd "yes." The Real Housewife was caught in a moment while she contemplated inviting her father to her nuptials. She revealed that she had not seen him in three years. During a confessional, Cynthia told cameras: "After my mom did Kenya's domestic violence PSA, it caused a huge rift in my relationship with my dad." Bravo snapped back ten years to her wedding to Peter Thomas, where her father Elijah Bailey walked her down the aisle. This time around, it will not be the same. While talking the idea over with Mike, she realized, "There could be drama with my mom. I mean, she'll just be uncomfortable and upset with me." She told Mike about her dad attending, also admitting, "I want him to come. That day is our day and whatever issues anyone has, I want them to put them aside for that day."
Her mom Barbara Bailey made it clear that she would not be okay with her ex-husband being a guest at her daughter's wedding and the reality star received the news. Mama Bailey also mentioned how she had not known about the PSA being recorded and felt tricked. Fans learned that Cynthia's mother had negative feedback from their family and friends.
