MCU Video Syncs WandaVision's Post-Endgame Scene With Hulk's Snap

A nifty MCU video tags on WandaVision's post-Hulk Snap moment to Avengers: Endgame. As the first project to premiere from the MCU's Phase 4, WandaVision is officially introducing audiences to the new Marvel universe. Save for 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home, the MCU has yet to really delve into what the world looks like after Avengers: Endgame, which drastically changed the landscape of the universe. So far, WandaVision's sitcom-styled story hasn't shown much of the outside world, but this weekend's episode 4 finally pulled back the curtain on how times have changed.

Perhaps the biggest connection to Avengers: Endgame arrives in the first few minutes of the episode. Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wakes up in a hospital room, having been dozing beside the bedside of her mother Maria (Lashana Lynch). However, this isn't a normal wakeup, as Monica is seen being pieced back together from bits of dust. Yes, Monica was one of the people to disappear when Thanos (Josh Brolin) Snapped the Infinity Gauntlet, and she was brought back by Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) doing a Snap of his own. The opening minutes of WandaVision episode 4 take place right alongside that moment from Avengers: Endgame.

With that in mind, fan joao pedro edited the two scenes back to back. This MCU video shows Hulk Snapping his fingers in Avengers: Endgame before leading right into Monica's WandaVision opening. It's an interesting way of seeing how the two events are supposed to be placed within the timeline, and it makes both more impactful. Check it out down below.

Though Spider-Man: Far From Home attempted to show what it was like when Thanos' victims all returned, it was largely treated as a joke. WandaVision is the first time audiences see the real horror that came from Hulk's reverse Snap, as episode 4 reveals the panic people felt when everyone reappeared suddenly after five years. It was an effective way of opening the episode, and it helped expand upon the universe even more.

Presumably, there will be more hints in WandaVision about how the world has changed in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. Many assume that something happened to Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) right after the movie, which then led to the events of the series. Right now, it's unclear as to what went down, but WandaVision will surely reveal more in the coming episodes. It's been said that the show will have lasting consequences on the MCU, so fans better buckle in. It's only getting more exciting from here.
